Well Just try to Image Design a face like that when EVERYONE has that face. Zabrak, Twi'lek, Human... fun stuff. Luckily it only happens on my work pc
Somehowa texture must have got switched.... I wonder if the location that those trees are supposed to be now looks like a giant face. O_o Speaking of scary.. heh

I'm getting theodd gray torso around clothingtoo (just started this weekend). Weird o.O
Check your detail and LOD manager settings. The instance I mentioned earlier when I dropped my settings all the way down/offthe grey torso was another side-effect.

Hm... I hadn't done any ID since I got my new RAM and upgraded my graphic settings about a month ago. I tried last night and I no longer have the problem. It might be a graphical setting you can change in the options. I'm just not sure what I did to make it stop, though. Hehe.

I've had that problem since day one.. Figured it was yet another hair bug.

Those 'trees' are the Default Texture in this game. That face you see on you is a result of the game not rendering the multiple layers of the face as one texture. In the Launchpad options there's a checkbox called 'texture baking'. If you can click that and still run the game, your problem is solved.

Under graphics options the character detail slide bar affects the disappearence of textures. If you set it all the way down then when you zoom out form your character you'll lose the textures resulting in the plain grey textures (and other plain colors). This also makes some items in your inventory lose textures it seems. I have abelt on that is normally black, but turns white, and my head turns purple when the texture goes away.
I've been in the middle of coronet and putthe sliderall the way up, waited for a few minutes and all the way down. The difference in FPS was negligible (i.e. 1-2).
I find that it isn't noticable if you leave it above 50%.

As for the tree thing... Check this out:

Lots of good info =)
The tree texture has to do with the disabling texture backing or something.

Ain't that what I said?
EDIT: I'd never even SEEN the mentioned thread before, and I was right. Testure Baking does involve the forming of one textture from the sub-textures needed. Cool technology is my bag... err... baby...

All I know is some older graphics cards can't do the age thing.
Btw I did still have all my detail things turned down duh. Things are fine now.
