I agree, it's illogical to say non-Zabrak can't have tattoos. Even more so to compare them to unique racial trates. It's not like they're born with tats or anything, they're added later, or not at all sometimes. I think that only Zarbraks can have facial tats obviously, or at the very least, only in such great detail. Maybe a simple star or a tear drop or maybe even sinlge line tribel style. I frankly wonldn't be giving my char any face tats. I just want somethin simple for my for arm.

At the same time you'd have to add some new, more complicated Zabrak tats. Maybe somethig that takes up only one half the face. Or a flat out Skull tattoo, in addition to the cool abstract skull we have already. And for the love of all that's cool, get rid of the "Tic-Tack-Toe" tat. It's next to the one with three vertical lines that's actually kinda cool. And of course, no tats for Wookies or Tranz. Sorry Tranz but how are you supposed to tattoo scales?

Anyways, other races should have tats, they jsut shouldn't be the ones Zabraks have.

i saw a piece of art on Elfwood that is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful pic of a Twe'lik. she has tattoos and they make her look, if such a thing is possible, even more Star Wars-y

I have never had a non-zabrak ask for a face tattoo. While I agree that face tattoos are not something integral to the species (it denotes clan and are optional, some go without), I do feel they should remain unique for them. When the option was given for men to go topless there were predictions that everyone would be running around without their shirt on and I have not seen that at all. Tattoos being visible will require the wearing of skin baring clothing which can be an issue in itself. When my Anarchy Online character got an upper arm tattoo she rarely showed it off because her upper arms were usually covered with armor Body tattoos have always been the top wish list item for Image Designers, andwould not only benefit an often struggling profession, but also the player base as a whole. From a roleplaying perspective it is very odd to have an entire galaxy where noone has body tattoos

Greetings,

I'm not a IDer, but I am a Male Zabrak TKM.

I am posting here, because I've been looking for an ID update to add the Body tat's (at least for Zabraks') that you see in the screenshots of the Beta. There is a male Zabrak with a sleevless outfit on, and on his arms are tat's. Was this something thrown out apon release? Or something that will "magicly" appear with a publish? Just curious.

Egg Zactly!

That's what's kinda blowing my mind about anyone being so overboard about how they guard what was or wasn't seenin the movies. That's some pretty narrow thinking, in my opinion,to assume that if you didn't catch a glimpse of it, whatever "it" is, in any of the movies then it can't possibly exist in the SW galaxy or universe.

Grant it, I'm not someone who has watchedeach of theSW movies dozens of times. And y'all feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. But I don't recall any scene in any of the movies where any of the major players, other than Leia, showed a lot of skin. Not that I think the decision for whether or notbody tattoosshould be allowedhas to come from whether or not Luke, Han, Lando, Vador, old Ben or Yodawere sporting any. Because I don't. But how would you even know if they were or not? I don't recall any of those guys having their shirts off. I don't recall ever catching a glimpse of thebare upper arms, chest or back, of any of those guys. How do you know you wouldn't have seen a tat on Han's bicep if he'd taken his shirt off? How do you know Amidala didn't havea tattoo on the small of her back? You don't.

I think some of you need to stop worrying somuchaboutthe possibility ofcoloring outside the lines. Because in the end I think you'll only make things less interesting for everyone. Including yourselves.
