*blinks* did I miss something? Whatdo these droids and terminals do? Maybe if I'd be able to cast my vote if I knew what I was voting for but "droid or terminal" is like asking "apple or orange". Can anyone help me out here with an explanation? Im not 100% sure what im voting on.

Well it's hard to vote with such limited information! The only thing really left is stat changes, so I assume that's all it would be for. IF we could reg our location with a terminal at our player owned house and have it show up on the planetary mapI would vote for that hands down. However since I have to assume otherwise I'm going to go with droid. It will only be used for stat changes and I'm on the go a lot. I hate being tied down to a location for just stat changes.

I don't really mind going to the salons in the cities.

I will admit that it would be nice to work from my home,but that poses a problem as well,since I work on any faction and well I don't think the city I live in would want me bringing opposing factions home to ID them ~something I'm sure no one has even thought about~

If we have tents in player cities its still gonna cut down on my client list,since ALOT of them will not come to where I live.

Both... Since both are very easy to do, but droid is favored. But if we don't get anything but the ability to do the god awful stat migrations where ever (meaning my buffs will lose 2 hours of time from people pming me going "cna j00 migrat3 meh statz?" if i can migrate anywhere rather than the standard 1 hour of my time being wasted), the dev dime would be better spent on something else (like giving humans something good with skin color maybe, or give humans red eyes?)

I dont owna single droid nor do I want to, if I did want to Id find some watch batteries for my old tamigotchi.

This made me laugh and not at you, honest. My reason is this - I have 2 toons and one is a TKM/doc. She owns 5 droids atm. My first med droid was Hippocrates, a little R2 with no storage,and only a 100% rating. Hip was my companion for many, many months. He got me thru medic/doc/cm and several tries at fight skills. But eventually I needed a 110 with storage. I put it off for a long time, just couldn't face replacing Hip. But finally I got Khios, hotshot R3 with f and c station, storage and a nice 110 rating. Khios is fine, does a great job when I need to do my buffs, but Hip is my pal, my buddy.

You can't convert back to a deed so as to place a droid in your house. You can only give the droid away or destroy it. NOT A CHANCE! So Hippocrates lives in my data pad along with Khios, and Wusthof (harvesting droid), Karnage (combat droid), and Suitcase (mouse who holds the fancy armor).

My long-winded point - you can really get attached to a droid. I know if Anara were to acquire an ID droid (hmm, have to think of a good name) it would become her sidekick and much loved pal.

If there was no timer bonus, I would not bother with either. The no global registration is no big deal, but the timer bonus is as it would mean that the droid/terminal would only be useful for stat migrations... and if someone wants a stat migration, we can just go to one of the NPC City Tents.
