I think your coming at this from the wrong perspective! You are looking at "grinding" away at ID instead ofplaying it to "explore" or discover it.

I recently was allocated Master Image Designer as my second holocron and, although I did groan when I saw it, have now risen to the challange and, surprisingly enough, am enjoying myself doing it.

I think that lots of people start a profession and go flat out burning and grinding away at it just to get to master with out full enjoying their "apprentiships" - role play it. This is another use for those who are masters in certain profession - to train and teach. Now there is a common meeting area for ID's it has become cheaper and easier to advance because you can find someone to train you more easily.
