Hehe.. whoops. Yeah. Pardon the obvious total mistakes in my above post.. I was a little tipsy last night. Anywho, most of it still stands: Even for a standard character creation screen the pallette shown is still a little more than bland. Anywho.. whoever mentioned the weight-slider, I hadn't quite noticed that part. You're right. Even *I* look a little top-heavy at low weight.

Duh !!
those are the basic character cration screens, NOT the advanced Image Id screen which have more colors and textures.....

Let us hope that species #2 is bith... at least I like those.
I might be the only one to do so, but hey who cares? And if you'd make a poll on how many SWG-players would prefer to see the ithorian as the new race above any other race... what do you think would be the outcome?
I'm quite sure most people agree with me - Rather anything else then Ithorian.

Oh yeah, us tailors are downright extatic. After all, this is exactly what we've been asking for, right? Another niche market that won't get used by many, and took a considerable amount of art team time…time that could have been used to make new items for 90% of the playerbase. Yup. Yup, yup, yup. Thrilled. (Can ya sense the sarcasm?)

See, I am excited that Ithorians can be played, but I don't like to play the races that EVERYONE likes, and I'm not so caught up in things that I can't play a race that's not considered beautiful.
I think the Ithorian are awesome in appearance. The slow way they move, the sweeping motion as they swing their heads, the gentle look in their eye and Girrafe eyelashes.
MAny of the polls would have Chiss at the top or Zeltron. But those are just human races with a different skin and eye color. At least Zabrak has horns. If they want us to be able to look Chiss, dang it I would rather they extend the human color pallete than hand us a human knockoff. It's not like anyone uses the %NT commands that would insert the race of your target into a sentace anyway. So Any race that is close to human and not as significantly different as Zabrak is, should be instituted simply by extending the color pallete for human skin, hair and eyes.
And you think that people would rather have ANY race above Ithorian? Seems to me that the hatred for all of Gungan kind (simply based off of one gungan character) is more prevailant than a dislike for Ithorian.
But I keep forgetting... If it's not beautiful, or feline no one wants to play it. And if Twi'lek actually looked more like Bib Fortuna there would be a lot less of them too.

Personally, I'd hazard the guess the second species would be Sullustans, because it's the Space Expansion.
Wouldn't it be fun to get "jowls" as a feature to manipulate? About as fun to slide around as "gullet".

Heh... personally, I would rather have Gungans than Ithorians. There is much greater scope to personalize the appearance of members of that race (and as far as I'm concerned, judging Gungans by THAT character is like judging humans by Peewee Herman).

Well now I've posted here I better make some relevant comment.
I think Ithorians will be a welcome change to the normal template avatars. The only problem may be that people will have to delete one of their characters to create one and that may make some people reluctant to choose one.

Nah, people will just use their second jedi-slot to make an ithorian instead. So we will be invaded by ithorian jedis.
*still thinks this game needs more uglyness or at least the option for it*
