Well if you plan on sticking with revoking stat migration for the general player base. I ask, that you allow Master Doctors to migrate also. It doesn't have to be the same process, but allow them to do it. While we're talking about doctors...you know you have these big hosptials with second floors....ever plan on using them?

Just a bit bugged? You ID someone once and then your unable to do another ID from then on. Hopefully that gets fixed asap, especially since similar bugs have plauged this profession from the begining.

To be honest, I am very suprised with your commentJustG. I think the Emote thingsshould have beenleast on the priorites of what new content to add. Imust say the new UI is very niceand (In the words of Randy Jackson)I have to give you guys props on that. But C'mon, a kitty Emote is more valuable than new Tatoos, scars ect..? I find that ridiculous.

A cool way to use emotes in-game would be for your droid to project them, like R2-D2 did with her message to Obi-wan in the begining of EP IV. Make it so ID's can sell a datadisk of emotes to people with droids, problem solved.

I just hit a bunch of buttons and hope everything works out.

When one does not learn from one's mistakes, one is doomed to repeat them.

You know the only reason that people can get their BF healed currently? Yup, holo-grinders. Before the holo-grind craze came about, sure you'd find a few entertainers in the Coronet or Theed Cantinas, from time to time. But if you had only late (like 2 or 3 AM) to play, then you were just SOL if you wanted or needed to get your mind wounds and/or BF healed. Making working with other PCs beneficial, and enhancing = good... FORCING us to do so = frustrating and very un-fun.

Oh, and one last thing. Obviously we were intended to surrender skills, and try out other professions, possibly even all of them, by the way that the FSCS unlocking was set up. However systems like this (we won't even mention the XP cap and the loss that it causes) highly discourages it. I'd expect, being a rifleman, I need my mind stats to be very high, but action and health aren't nearly as important to me. However, should I choose to try our Carbineer, for instance, where action is very important, but mind isn't nearly as much so. That I could start the stat migrate while surrendering Rifleman and working up Carbineer, so that by the time Carbineer was in full swing, my stats would better reflect where I need to be at to be successful in that profession. This is what I always saw Stat migration useful for.

Now, my question is this, how do the obvious exploits that go along with near-instant stat migration get solved?

What happens when I go get a musician and dancer mind buff (based off of my base mind, focus and willpower), then go see an ID and have him stat-migrate me, so that 10-minutes I'm able to pull a bunch of my base mind out and apply it to my action, health, or variety of other stats? Do I still get to keep my buffed mind?

How about the stat-migration to be able to put on my armor, then adjusting the stats back away once my armor is on me?

Or, even better... how about a new character?Onewho most likely doesn't understand the extremely complex stat system in the game (You can get at least 4 basic types of damage: self-incurred HAM costs, damage from being hit, wounds and battle fatigue (grouping diseases and poisons in as damage and wounds)), nor the varying amounts of HAM costs, encumberance which isn't explained, etc.He gets his initial "free" stat migration, then realizes that his character can't really accomplish much with his current stats, tries to go and stat migrate, only to find that the button has no effect, and finally figures out that an Image Designer is necessary. Now he has to get an Image Designer which can force him to pay a large, inflated credit amount (supply/demand, plus a highly inflated economy, despite being "slowly drained") in order to get these stats changed. But, wait, he's still experimenting around, and in another day or so, needs to get it changed again?

This unfairly hits those which are new to the game, haven't had 10 months to figure out where they want/need their stats to be, haven't experimented or ground through the many professions out there, and now have to seek out and pay a PC in order to get these changes done.

sometimes i feel silly cuz i get excited about the image design stuff, even though i'm not one, and i think it makes me a dork for talking to friends about this that don't play the game but then i look at other MMO's and thing about how UNIQUE this proffesion and ability is. I love it, its one of my favorite things about SWG (continuity be damned i say!) and its a key factor in why i keep playing... i just love to see what else i can look like =]

Thanks Dev's for keeping the crativity going on your end, its much appreciated.

Uhhh, that's exactly what was said about the crafting system changes. Remember those? I'll be very blunt here, currently I have occasion to retain the services of an image designer every couple of weeks because changing one's appearance is fun. But, as long as you enforce this interdependence with a stick rather than a carrot I will absolutely never again seek out the services of an id for any reason at all. Ever. My stats can stay where they are, I'll live. Perhaps you should instead invest in acluestick for yourself andyour staff, they seem to need it.

Honestly I don't understand what the comotion regardin the stat migration is about. How often do you migrate the stats of your character? I've been playing essentially since launch, and have migrated the stats of my character 2 or 3 times.

For all combat classes and Doctor/CM (and perhaps ID, also), you're probably going to go low on health/action stats and high on mind stats. For crafting classes your stat configuration basically doesn't matter. The only other common migration would probably be Musicians or Dancers going mostly into action. Since buffs have become pretty much commonplace, the frequency of minor migrations for wearing armor, lets say, has pretty much gone away.

So...realisticaly, in most cases you're not going to be migrating very much, and because of that I don't see why it's such a big issue to go out and find an Image Designer. Also, I don't agree with the idea to give Doctors the ability as well. They already have a big, unique market in buffing...

Yup we DEs were very concerned and in the end it seems everything worked out rather well. I have faith in their ability to have ID be a great prof to. I am sure the stat migration thing will be just fine.

On a side note however... Monster player-controlled combat droids?*drool* I think every DE has a picture of themselves standing next to a Nym Droideka! Evil smiley grin tell me your secrets!

No one cares about the speed, but everyone should have the ability to manipulate THEIR stats, why don't you do something useful like the combat balance instead of forever delaying it... Yea I know IDs needed some love but stat changing? pfft... They might want something a bit more image design related perhaps... If anyone should be able to change a players health, action and mind its a doctor surely!?

Aw, this was a nice post!

I thought the tent party was really fun too! I love it being right beside the Cantina (are they all like this? I've only seen the one in Theed) ... anyway, thanks for coming in to support Kwee and give the extra communication effort! That's very cool.

Can artisans or architects make the ID Booths so that IDs can do all this in their own homes as well as the tents in the city? Also, are there plans for a 'register on planetary map' feature of some kind for IDs?
