I very much agree with Lexy. I've been wanting to take up ID because I love the different things you can do with it, but alas, I started just after publish 9. I've been working on this thing for about a month now and I'm not even up to Novice ID yet! Dancer is easy as pie although it gets repetative, and the fighting professions are easily aquired as well if one puts the time and effort in. She is correct in that no one wants anything but a Master, so we designers go broke until then. I have to offer money and free for life offers just to get someone to help me. An hour of grinding straight and I'm not quite half way up one bar in the entertainer branch of ID.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the profession, and unlike some rude people would not want to see it go at all! The new salons are very well done and the new ID only options are a kick and assure that we get some if not much business. But in the month of grinding just ent. ID (along with a life i.e. work) I've only had one volunteer customer and I did it free because I couldn't do hardly anything for her. I'm leaving the brains to the marvelous staff who came up with this awesome game, I'm just doing a little feedback from the field in hopes that you will take mercy on us!!!

I hope this profession gets it rightful place back,

I use to love going to Image designers, getting a new change of hair etc. I have paid over 1million in fees over the course of the year. Now it just takes too long. I feel bad for the current IDers since this time waset to most people is causing them grief. I had even thought about doing it but well as has been mentioned 40 hrs of waiting yeah right.

The worst thing I remember was waiting 10 minutes for a stat migration, getting horrendously bored I started doing other things and after 7 minutes accidently killed the ID window. One thing that might be nice is a confirmation window, unless it is tied in with the accept crafting steps.

To the Devs, I think that whoever came up with the idea of all these timers should have to go to a server and level up to master. Then you can see what potential abuse you are putting the people who delvier this service through. There are still a few players who like color and depth in a game, and so it is sad that these sort of things play second fiddle to pure combat fixes. Please put a little bit more thought into scoping your changes and understanding the rammifications of these clever ideas. Yes I do think the profession had to change, being able to master in a couple of hours is bad, but at least bring it inline with other professions. Remember you cant really do anything else why you ID and there isnt the adrenalin factor either. I keep hearing the IDs are being removed rumor, but if you dont do something about the absurd timers then this will be achieved by no one being willing to do it anymore.
