Thread: Newsflash: ID Building (Tent) now on Test Center
It shouldn't—2xBrandy = ~800-850 mind/focus/willpower. 2-3xCanape = ~1250-1900 focus/willpower…even without dancer/musician you shouldn't be using any mind. Of course, that's a really expensive way to do a makeover, but it's possible I guess.

Hm…uberID: Master Image Designer / 2-0-0-0 Teras Kasi Artist / 114 skill points of other stuff. 1100 mind + 550 powerboost—then you could do a whole lotta changes at once
Thats true. With the right templates and buffs you could make quite a few changes and and still be ready for PvP! So I will change this to say that there is no way that *I* can change more than a few things at once. I think that with the maximum buffs for me (entertaner, canapes and brandy), a weight, chin and nose combo would mean instant incap! I wonder if the person I was IDing could deathblow me if they didn't like the changes....

I know that I usually image design drunk and sometimes full of tasty pastries.
Thank you Gyopi

However, you also remark that only half of our skills will be tied to the tent and from that remark you seem to draw the conclusion that we won't ever have to use the tent if we don't want to. In my opinion, a true Master Image Designer should be able to do anything possible in the field of Image Design - so I disagree with you that we won't have to use the tent. But as you suggested, we'd probably do best to wait for the next minipublish. Unfortunately patience isn't one of my assets.
I think you misinterpreted what Kwee said (I hope!). You said "We can't be proper Image Designers with only half our skills available" and Kwee said that half of our skills will not be tied to the tent, which I think means that your concerns are not really true. I don't think she is implying that the other half of our skills *will* be tied to the tent. From the tiny bits of information that have been given, it sounds to me that all of our skills will be available outside of the tent. I think that the tent adds something new which is not directly tied to image design as we know it. For example, what I have been hoping is that it will allow us to present and give a full makeover all at the same time instead of doing all the different pieces one at a time and trying to reassure the customer that it will all come together in the end. Right now, even if the new user interface allows this, no one has enough mind to do more than a few changes at once. Maybe the tent terminals will allow us to do this without the mind penalty. I really have no idea of what they do, but hopefully we will find out soon!
Sounds onery, but, who wants to be standing in their tent they paid for trying to get business while others can just prance in and take customers. Players who want to use a tent and don't have one, can go to town and use the public one.

Ah! Well it's exactly this kind of confusion that leads me to say we shouldn't have got those tents until they were fully functional.

That would have been impossible, static content was only going to be pushed either at publish 8 or 9 and we need the tents for our mini publish..

Okay so a Doctor can have a PC med center, a dancer a cantina or theater.... all these things are found in the big cities as well as our new ID tents.
But we cannot have an ID tent to put in a player city?
Dont get me wrong I am glad for the new changes, but if you are going to add an area that only an ID can use, then at Master they should be able to toss a tent down in the city they worked from for so long as an ID.
Just one more upset Id here, thought Id let you know that it indeed upsets me as well.
