Statistics
- Star Wars characters will now have a single hit point bar, called "Health". When health reaches zero, the player is incapacitated.
- Offensive attacks are performed ultimately to damage your opponent’s health statistic in order to win in combat. Players continue to perform special actions in combat that they receive during their character’s advancement. These actions draw from two point pools "Action" and "Mind". You must have the required number of pool points to perform the action.
- There will be no more stat migration capability.
- Players no longer have the so-called "drain" stats: Strength, Quickness, and Focus. They will continue to have the recharge stats "Constitution", "Stamina", and "Willpower", however they will be called "health regeneration rate", "action regeneration rate", and "mind regeneration rate".
- Species differentiation will be defined by different regeneration stats, skill mods, and minor special abilities.
- The only wounds a player can receive are health wounds. All other wound types will be removed from the game.

Yeah I am wondering about that myself..and the wound part to (see Tailor tag in Sig) no more Enhanced Myloflex huh?
I really want to know more before I sink too far into this creeping feeling of dislike.

Yes, it's true, if the current version of the CU will make it to live the time for stat migrations will be gone. On one side it means we will lose a steady source of income, but on the other side, stat migrations were never really popular among our ranks.

I really don't know, I think it's kinda sucky.
I really can't put anything else (keeping my language clean) other then to say I am disappointed with what's coming up.
Both the combat upgrade and Rage of the Wookies seem to ... well suck.

I've always been outspoken against stat migrations, as I believe it runined what was a great profession already.

Although I have never liked stat migration, I've always believed that the ID profession, at launch, was lacking content. I don't think that it's appropriate to remove a function - the only "essential function" - of a profession without replacing it with something else, particularly considering the economic implications.

Exactly, try to get folks to understand first off that a 'hair color change' is how you make your creds is sometimes impossible,
but the timer of 4 mins on a stat mig and the fact it affected their actual play meant this was accepted as 'work'
I was looking forward to so many coming changes, and now I am starting to think about what to do with all the free time I will have not playing this game..
(stay at home mom of 4yr old boy...I play while doing house and sitting on floor with him, to keep my own brain from busting)

Sorry - I'm not very concerned about stat migrates going away.
Getting people to pay for them was like pulling teeth. I tried to get people to tip for them while I was grinding, back in the day of 10 minute timers, and nope - I had to enforce payment in the end, out of pure self-respect for my time. (and I charged half of server standard)
All other changes - in my personal experience of course, I understand that servers and random customers differ - I got tipped more than I would have asked for. Blue hair - 5k. Trying on all the short hairstyles, picking one, changing hair color, removing facial hair - 20k. etc.... And I had FUN doing it!!!
Doing click click and staring at a timer must be the most boring task anyone had to do in this game, and I will not for one second feel sadthat it isgoing away.
I hope the squashing of a lot of other non-combat professions isn't going to include ID further, of course.
This is the coolest game profession ever invented, and I really hope that there will be further content coming in due time.
But really. Stat migrates?
I'm very concerned about the other entertainer professions, about merchants who just were made obsolete, docs getting their income and crafting taken away, etc etc etc. I don't know how it will all play out. (I doubt the devs do either, which worries me even more)
One thing that I'm not concerned about is Image Designer. Not at this stage. And I'm certainly not worried about my bank account.
Not trying to invalidate anyone elses experience either - just... I had to put this out here!

Be sure to give both positive and negative constructive feedback in the dev-created update thread

I am positive that as proposed this will have a negative effect on the game.

What I meant is that the devs need to hear both sides of the issue. If you don't like it, you should say so, and if you do, you should say so as well, and explain why for either point of view. I didn't mean that you had to cite both the positives and negatives of the change, or sugar coat any negative feedback (hehe I never do).
