1/ Which if any of our wish list items do you feel would provide us with long term game play (as opposed to our current content which some of us are seeing diminished demand for). Which do you feel wouldn't provide us with long term game play?

2/ Do you have any ideas (not in our SOTP) that you feel would give us fun and business for many months to come?

3/ What is your vision of what the ImageDesigner profession is, does, and encompasses?

Thank you

1. hair color pallet and a id trade window would. also piercing and tatoos(lots of styles)

2. maybe multiparted hair, so instead of giving them one style, give them a base style, add bangs, pony tails, and hair lenght etc to the base. it would allow alot more customization. also and i am a tailor too so i see and acknowledge the overlap but maybe let us craft certain accessaries such as sunglasses, scarves, veils, etc.

3. as an image designer we should be able to hear hey you know <celebrities name/ vid game character/ etc> in <movie name/game name> i wanna look like that only with <bangs, longer/shorter hair, etc> and be able to do it

ps. i may be staying too

1) Ugh. Tough question. To me, eventually anything they give us will become stale eventually. The question is how quickly. For my money, I'd go with
body art (tattoos, piercings) on this one. Seems to me it'd offer the largest new variety, but I could be totally wrong…

2) Uhm…er…I'll get back to you on that one. (Sure me, most of my idea have already been posted, either by me, or others)

3) Image Designers are a one-stop shop for physical appearance and the mental wellbeing that goes with liking how you look. For me, if it affects your physical appearance—not clothes or armor or bikes or houses or…—it whould go through us, and if it doesn't…it's probably got nothing to do with us. (There are a couple exceptions…massage buffs, things like that)

1: Definitely body art, though I've got a really cool new outfit that'd be PERFECT whith some bright green hair... but for the greater good, body art

2: I want guns. Lot's of guns ((SOO sorry. Always wanted to post that.)) Seriously, I liked someones idea of ID buffing Battle fatigue in an ID building. Also, if ID's could place spa's/hotels(PLEASE HOTELS) thenthe RP value for us goes higher than it is.

3: Image is Everything. We are the thin line that defines the subtle differences beetween original and boring. We are Individuality Personified. And we can scare the bejeezus outta an entire cantina. Ever randomly maxed out your chara's height? Ever done it when your normally at the lowest setting? It's fun. I promise you.

yeah i beleive china was the opne who brought up the spa buff

but yes a hotel would be nice. mayb e have rentable rooms that people pay to get into(1 per room) and it greatly speeds up stat migration. maybe an hour or 2 in the room will do a full migration

One per room? Now where's the fun in that?

That easy to answer;

  • A Master Image Designer building- see http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=image_designer&message.id=8181

  • *addition* - As for character adjustment wish lists, I would hope thy could do one item for each male/female specie a Publish. Instead of giving a ton of new human hairstyle and nothing else they should do 16 hair/ridge/horn/fur/lukkee styles, one for each sex of each species. and the next publish do one color upgrade for each of the species, like for example ridge colors for trandoshan andhorn colors.

2/ Do you have any ideas (not in our SOTP) that you feel would give us fun and business for many months to come?

Party IDs, IDs that last only 24hrs or until canceled by customer also comes in wild colors and designs and is non functionable (This would bring in the RP and PC event players)

3/ What is your vision of what the ImageDesigner profession is, does, and encompasses?

This profession is for those who have an artistic eye and enjoy talking one on one, it's not a profession for soloing nor is it for largeor long termgrouping. If you want to meet someone new every time you log-on, not be tied-down with commitments, and a have a way to to be truely artisticbe an IDer.

I can see it now Voor's Spa and Hotel Ilove it!

The details on buffs and functions can be work out by the devs, but this a GREAT idea! With the current NPC hotelsthere is a stage for the dancer/IDer players, enough room for tailor/IDers to have a shop in the hotel, and so many many more possibilities.

Long term... eh... dunno - I'm going to have to go with tattoos. People want them, and I suspect people will want them changed. Hair colros is a close second. Hip/rump adjustments would probalby be nice, but realistically, there will not be much repeat business off that

2/ Do you have any ideas (not in our SOTP) that you feel would give us fun and business for many months to come?

Disguise kits that lessen the chance of an imperial pat-down

3/ What is your vision of what the ImageDesigner profession is, does, and encompasses?

ID has to do with appearance and is primarily aesthetic. People come to us for weird and wacky things, things that we can't do. They are very disappointed that we can't provide those services. There is a demand for outside-character-creation modification. I think the profession is primarily aesthetic, and we should get the aesthetics to where they should be - both from the point of view of the ID, and the point of view of the customer - before we start adding unrelated bells and whistles.

    Thank you

More tatoos and hairstyles would probably give the biggest benefit. I never seem to have anything that will make the customer really happy! I usually get something like, "I guess this one is OK. Are you sure there aren't any more?".

2/ Do you have any ideas (not in our SOTP) that you feel would give us fun and business for many months to come?

Well, even though I seemed like I was against them, I think that temporary disguise kits which are crafted items would sell well and might be a lot of fun. The way I picture them is that you craft them and change the body attributes the same way as when you first made your character. That way you can play with different looks and have a creative outlet. It would also let me do ID on some races that I never get to work on, like wookies. Anyway, when the person uses the kits, they look like what I created for a certain period of time. Maybe it could disguise faction too.

3/ What is your vision of what the ImageDesigner profession is, does, and encompasses?

Image designers are people who know how to change body attributes to get a certain "look" that the customer is happy with. An image designer is the kind of person who actually notices that someone has no chin and a Michael Jackson nose. They, along with tailors are able to provide an entire package to get just the right look and depend on each other. For example, the average player doesn't realize that in order to make an exquisite gown look OK that their muscle has to be close to maximum and they must have a torse size of around -40 (or sometimes larger). Otherwise it looks much to big for them. Anyway, I don't think that image designers have control over everything aesthetic. Things like interior decorating can be done by anyone and to me is an aestetic outlet for the masses.

    1. Body art

    2. No

    3. Modification of avatars; those visual components not encompassed by clothing and jewelry. Aesthetics, not functionality.

    1. More hair choices, tattos, piercings, and maybe being able to add some to the backsides of females. So they don't have to be fat, (unless they want to) but can have a little bit of a bigger but.

    2. Massages, buffs, and who knows. I would just love to have more to do with the entire game than a one stop.

    3. Our profession is vital for a person to enjoy bc how else are they going to be able to enjoy roleplaying if they look ugly.
