I know that nobody here will post how to do the exploits even though they are so freaking cool that I can barely contain myself as I type, but I sawa blue human today on Scylla and well it got me wondering, is it possible to make my zabrak red? If anyone is willing to pm me with this command line or if you are on scylla and will drop me an email about it I can hook you up with some Scylla creds or just a well deserved thank you on here.

The blue human is just a blue Twi'lek with human hair. I am highly outspoken against the use of the exploits, I think they demean our profession. So I can't help ya. Sorry.

gah! i wish people couldnt do those exploits, i have actually considered not doing image design for a while because of the sheer amount of tells i get from people wanting me to do the exploits on them. i refuse to do any of them. And it takes away from the game imo to see a twi'lek or any other non hair species with human hair!! Sorry for ranting here, but is one of my biggest pet peeves in the entire game and ive been seeing post after post of people wanting the exploits.

I agree. I'm actually losing business because other image designers are giving out these wild styles, which I can't do.

Recently I saw a male Twi'lek with a third "tentacle" of hair down the back of his head, and something like long eyebrows. Was this the product of a similar exploit?

I'm hoping for a yes becuse for some reason it was very disturbing. He was generally kind of creepy already.

I agree, I don't do it either, but I do get tells for it occasionally, and unfortunately, there seem to be image designers on my server who make use of these exploits. One day, I entered the cantina just to find every non-human race run around with a human hairstyle. *shudders at the thought*

A mon calamari asked me if I liked his hairstyle (he was a total stranger), so I was being blunt and honest as always and said that I didn't like it, because I dislike exploits. And that point he got extremely unfriendly and impolite. But seriously, mon calamari with human hair? Ever seen a fish with hair?

I do believe that the hairstyle or markings selection isn't big enough for a lot of races - I've said often enough that I want a hairstyle with more hair for my female zabrak, yet I'd never use an exploit to get the hairstyle I want. I think it looks particularly awful on races that have no hair to start with, such as twi'leks or mon cal's. Maybe if they gave those races more markings/lekku/whatever options, these exploits weren't so sought after. I mean, 7 or 8 lekku styles, compared to 30+ hairstyles? Kind of boring. And before the person who posted that there's only so much you can do with "tentacles" posts a reply again, I do think you can definitely do more than a handful of styles with lekkus (especially if they were to add the thickness option that has been suggested).

Now if we had an active correspondant we could trust, I'd tell you to ask the devs for a little more variety in skin color rather than abusing an exploit.

personally i hope to see them make it impossible to do those exploits in the next patch, ive sent in my share of screenshots of players with the exploited styles on their characters. So they are definately aware that it is happening. im not the only one sending in screenies on this. I also agree if the non-hair style species had more options in colors marking patterns, and styles that the exploits would be less sought after, however until they are made impossible to exploit im afraid we will start seeing more of these exploited styles i have already been seeing more twi'leks with human hair on scylla as it is.

Multi colored humans have always been a part of Star Wars.
For it not to be in SWG, is not wrong but an oversight on dev.

If I see a Twi'lek with hair, am I going to go cry foul to the devs because I dont care for it? No.
Does it effect my gameplay becuase someone is using something like this to make their character a bit more unique? No.

Have I had it done to me? Yes.

I just dont understand how this is effecting people so much that they feel the need to lash out and loose their temper. If you dont like it, dont do it. But dont go running off and tattle tale, becuase of it. Its not like this is cause Image Designers to loose business. Heck, I wont do it to characters and I am still making money and doing customization on characcters.

I guess I am a bit more passive on this type of issue and more concerned about those that are duping items, stealing things and exploiting for profit.

I dont understand why this is such a big deal.

When you consider that this is linked to the exploit that allowed even a non Image Designer to do alterationsupto those a Master ID could perform (thankfully fixed last time I checked)...you see why it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Yes, what bothers me the MOST are the following two points:

1. It messes with my immersion. I'm an RPer most of the time, and well... it's really odd for a trandoshan to have lekku.

2. Last I checked, Novice Entertainers were capable of doing this. I worked REALLY hard at ID. I'm six boxes from master, and I've never used an exploit or a macro.I don't want some afk macrotainer (which I won't even get STARTED on, lol) to get 10k giving a twi'lek the Vixen while I'm sitting in the cantina making 2k doing the same hairstyle. Where's the reward for my work at ID if someone still in their newbie clothes can do exactly the same things (and more) that I can?

These are NOT exploits ppl. Don't you know exploit from bug? or bad program design?

Exploit=Interrupting others game play

Bug=Bad program design

See the difference? ok for the image design one it is a bug because it don't affect anyone else in game other then those who want it.

You ppl are ridiculous...geesus lighten up and have some fun. (no I am not an ID) but you self-righteous ppl are funny to read about...it is no big deal...it don't hurt anythign..if ppl had fun with it..what is the problem? So a lizard wants zabrack hair..big whooptie doo.

I am gonna have to agree with the last poster...I too don't think it is a exploit. Think it to be more of a bug. I don't really care what ppl do with there characters..don't see the big deal in it either...whatever they want to do...let them...no biggie.
