There are currently no force sensitive bennies for the three Ent professions. Any thoughts on what might be a good ID one (should they ever want to add one in)

I could see a time benefit being attributed to being able to concentrate better due to being FS. Seeing as how ID's use mind (or used to before the timers anyway) anything that helps the mind stats should help us too.

How about using an image design mind trick.............
cust: I need my stats migrated.
ID: You don't need a stat migration.

Given the trend with other Force Sensitive items being enhancements to existing abilities, not additions/new abilities.
I'd have to lean towards a timer reduction, although I'd be hesitant to support that [for reasons stated elsewhere], but it may be a similiar issue as the Crafters are facing with the threat of it being semi-required to be a FS Crafter to be compeitive [and have the max Exp Points yada]. So I dunno.
Only other idea I can think of is a boost to the # of holo-emote uses they generate per session [ie, 30 instead of 20].
Aside from that I'm at a lose for stuff to add that would match the tone set by other Force Sensitive benefits.

I still like the idea of 'Force Commit' were you wave your hand and make rude people ugly and gross-colored. Maybe limit it to once per week? C'mon.. this idea is too good to pass up!!
You could also grant addition charges to a FS ID's Holoemotes.
I bet if the Devs added a 'glowing aura' FS box, 50% of thepure Combat-typeswould take it, even if it did nothing in Combat.
There's also boring things like Timer Reductions.
Maybe a Temporary Stat buff for all Migration clients? <--- I wrote this, and realized that this is the cruelest idea I've ever thought of. Can you imagine people asking us to buff then and waiting 10 minutes per person?
How about allowing a FS Entertainer to color their spacial text? We are expected to be social, after all.
Maybe one a day or so allowing us to act like we're inside a cantina/salon for 15 minutes, no matter where we are?

Its a hard thing to do, but........
Force Sensitive Image Designer :
Ability - Disguise ( What a lot of people wanted to be able to do anyhow )
Rank1 Allows the Image Designer to temporarily shift or suspend the players faction affiliation, or to grant one if Neutral for a short time.
Rank 2Upgrade Ability : Random name - Changes the characters name to a randomly generated name.
Rank 3 Upgrade Ability: Race change - Change the character to become adifferent race. Armor restrictions still apply as the change is just cosmetic and force energy is making the people who see the changed character believe in the change. Ala Mind Trick.
Rank 4 Upgrade Ability: Disappear - The ability to totally remove the characters "signature" from the overhead map and to make him untrackable for a short time. ( Not Stepping on Ranger toes here...I have one myself and we are hoping to get that ability for ourselves too, but this would be a force power granted to a player for a very limited time. )
Ok, thats my suggestion. I could come up with some others to be varied, but its late and my eyeballs hurt

camlions(sp?) come to mind...maybe ID's that are force senitive may be able to create a skin color that blends in with most background of certain planets.....i.e. dantooine with the redish/greenish ground...

Oooh, I like the ideas about a race change. That'd be cool, specially if it were permanent until you rechange it. Could give people a new kind of char without recreating.
I think FS IDs should be able to have a shortened timer.

The fact that the social classes don't have anything really bothers me. And my fiance pointed out that "The end goal is to be Jedi and a new dance or bonus to mind enhancement wouldn't help your player when they became a Jedi because they'd lose the ability to dance. But the combat bonuses for the other professions would still work."
When we became Jedi...?
The AA points shouldn't be linked to force sensitivity anyway, but they are ::sigh:: The end goal for the social classes is NOT Jedi. Those of us who are social don't necissarily want to spend all of our time in PVP (otherwise we'd be combatants) So there is no reason to NOT give us bonuses to Mind enhancement./ No, it won't help a Jedi but again, the people who play the social classes (a master Dancer, Master ID master Entertainer kinda person) is not exactly intending to go be a PVP Jedi, right?
Besides, the end-all-be-all of Jedi is not a Jedi Knight either. You have Counselors and all sorts of other types. Though how to integrate them into this game.... ::shrugs::
I don't know how to add a bonus for The social classes, but there should be- we don't need them to augment Jedi since most of us won't be going that way. (It still shouldn't be AA points... or maybe a special system of AA for the entertainers... Get new dancers, new whatever...)
Obviously the bonuses people will list off that we should have is ways to cut down the timer, new styles etc. And I'll bet someone mentioned that we should have the ability to change a person's race ::snickers:: ... bad.

This is not going to happen. It was specificly shot down by the folks at Lucasarts.
How about a "Charisma bonus"? We could get more favorable results when talking to NPCs. The most obvious advantage would be higher mission payouts from missions accepted from NPCs ( not terminals ) Other NPCs could be scripted in the future that would flesh out the skill for additional benifit.

Sense I figure this will be the devs last chance to keep me playing SWG, I think I will give my input. (as pointless as it may seem to do so)
first an FYI on what the devs have said on FS and professions
Force Sensitivity
Players will have to complete a series of quests in order to enable their Force Sensitive Skills. These quests are for anyone who has not yet completed the existing Jedi path, regardless of how many professions they have mastered. These quests represent Jedi Revamp Part 2: The Jedi Trials which will be live in Publish 10. We will discuss the details in future Jedi Archives as we get closer to that publish. We know there are many of you eager to know how the switch to the new Force sensitivity path will affect you, sowe felt we needed to touch on the key points. Credit will be given to players for the professions they have mastered, and that credit is the ability to rapidly advance through the Force sensitivity path. These are skill boxes that enable small gains towards skills a player will be familiar with. These skill boxes will be "Force enhancements" that will augment their existing professional skills to simulate a ." For example, a player can purchase a box of Crafting Sensitivity and gain a small bonus to crafting. This simulates their character being more in tune with the Force so they may have slightly better reflexes, insights, etc. All these skills are passive and do not generate "Jedi visibility."

New art (hairstyles, makeup, etc) would be nice, but I forsee the devs being to bussy (again) for that.
That is the only thing I can think of to say right now, well the only nice things to say
Good Luck devs, I hope you do something that can save this profession.

I had a couple of ideas stemming off of the recent control over stat migrations whereas a FS ID could enhance other "senses" of a player such as:
1. enhanced radar -extending radar range
2. ability to return overt to covert in a shorter timespan
3. pheromones(we do hair and make up, why not perfume?)- attractants/repellents for a specific creature
4. disguises - mentioned previously in several posts. This could be of a factional nature or to dodge a bounty
5. blue glowy - added art/effects similar to holo-emotes
The problem I can easily foresee is the same one we are currently experiencing with stat migrations. A good portion of the ID community does not want involvement in the GCW or combat. It would be nice if we could get a consensus on how the actual gamers feel about this, but I don't think the addition of new abilities is a bad thing.
