I've been hearing a lot of reports of ID's being harassed by people who either take their anger about the new way stat migration works on the ID, get mad when they find out the ID'er expects to be paid, or gets mad when they find out how much the ID'er wants to be paid.

If this happens to youreport itnot just for your own sake but for any other ID's the harasser might target in the future. ESPECIALLY (but not only) if offensive words are used. If you feel upset/embarassed, feel like you want to just log or go do something else in the game, chances are you probably are being harassed.

Please take a few minutes to do the following... (passed along by Thunderheart when I mentioned among other concerns that some ID's were being harassed):

If you are being harassed in game we urge you to place a Harassment CS ticket. There is a special button to do this. Press CTRL-H and then press the button that says, “Report a Harassment” and it will auto place a ticket and do a /report at the same time.

When you hear back from a CSR it's good practice to get a screenshot of the feedback screen (where they tell you what will be done about your report or acknowledge receipt). Not everyone knows youare supposed to go back into Ctrl-H and look to see if a CSR has left you a message about your ticket yet.

How UTTERLY depressing that we need to have this thread. This is why I've stopped playing Fuschia. Even my guildmates and fellow citizens - whom I don't charge for - hate on me because I charge 20k normally for stat migrations.

I'm in awe. Not only has harrasment not been even remotely present on my server ...

I've been playing MID since the update every day for literally hours on end with long lines of players and NOT ONE SINGLE PLAYER HAS COMPLAINED about the ID changes orstat migration. Just lots and lots of happy customers and KUDOS on the new program....

WITHthe exception oftwo or three in all those players who said some other IDdemanded 50k for a stat migration and they couldn't afford it and asked me if I thought that was fair (which I don't really but that's IMO and I respect each players right to try and get what they think their time is worth).

IMO it isutterly ridiculousthey are getting this excellent new game improvement to their character makeup and instant stat migrations and complaining about it? That's nuts. Pffffft.

It also wouldn't hurt to turn on chat log so you can post the full chat text (well what happens after you turn it on). The command is /log <filename> osmenthe isn't it?

I think you just have to type /log to toggle it, but I"ll double check next time I'm on. It gets stored to a little text file called chatlog or some such in the folder you have for each of your characters.

Yeah it is just /log and it will be on your profile in the star wars galaxies folder under chat log I think. Also I have been lucky so far I haven't had anyone complain about it but I have had a guy say he would do it for free on the day the revamp came out.

Actually, when you do a /report, it gives the last 50-100(or so)lines of text to the CSRs. As Shala wrote, screenshots are still not accepted asevidence of harassment. Only /report works.

I hate to say that I have had to report a player recentlyfor this due to the new ID changes. He wanted a stat migration and left off one zero of the total price stated. He became very belligerent when I told him what the correct price was then proceeded to call me all sorts of names, whined about it was unfair as I was the only ID in town, thenstarted spamming what a **edit** I was. Maybe I shouldn't have curtsied and smiled at him.

As far as I know, they do not consider /log or screenshots of the log legitimate forms of evidence. They're too easily doctored. At least, this is what has happened in the past.

I just had a player in the ID tent ask me to take off my shirt. I /reported and opened the ticket through the holo.

I like the ignor command very much. I have only had 1 plays harass me. It was not about ID stuff, but I hit ignor and never hear/saw anything again. But do report it 1st.

I tell people who complain that they get paid for running missions. I point out they are wearing armor costing 400k. Paying something for the 10 min stat change is reasonable. I paid for all my training and had to hunt to get the cash for it.

I have been charging 10k for a stat change. And I throw in any other changes they want for free. But like others have said, charge what you want. It's your time they are buying, your skill.

The worst possible thing that can happen to anyone is getting harrased by an Pink Ewok...even tough you can't understand what there saying they tend to bite your leg ( little buggers ) Apart from that its a good idea to report when being harrased ^_^

I have to say that I am very upset because someone was upset with my prices and turned me in for spamming my prices at the Coronet Starport. If noone has noticed everyone spamms at the starport. My husband is a Master Doctor and he spamms his prices all the time. I have been round and round with CSR and still do not understand the logic behind why I got a black mark on my account. Like I told them all my customers have been happy and I have never had a problem with any of them till now. I have people who are regular customers and they send their friends. I almost quit the game for what has happened. And also, my husnabd was enraged and wrote the CSR. I think that is it unfair for someone to be able to turn you in for whatever reason.I was considered harrassing this player and disrupting their game play with spamm. I have to say I lag so bad in Coronet due to spamming, but that is where I get my business.

I also have to say that I am very upset with Newbies because I now have people telling me that they do not have to pay for their stat migrates because newbies will do it for free. And that I am on crack by charging. I am a master and do not need the exp and do not want to sit there for 10 minutes for nothing.

Since the mini publish ive only really be harrassed to such an extent that I was upset bu 1 player (maybe it takes a lot to upset me I dont know).

It started like this, im writing this from memory its not an accurate chat log:

random guy tells you: can you migrate my stats
you reply: yes i charge 10k for stats as it takes 10 minutes
random guy tells you: 10k thats sickening how is a new player supposed to afford that
you reply: well people have been paying me 10k and they seem happy with the service
random guy tells you: your just cashing in and everyone else has to suffer

*at which point I was starting to get quite mad so...*

you reply: if you dont like it go find another ID and ask them how much they charge
random guy tells you: you cant really expect people to pay your overinflated prices

*very very mad by this point*

you reply: Bite me
random guy tells you: No I wouldn't want to get poisoned

*the conversation then degenerates into a slagging match*

you reply: welcome to my ignore list k thx bye

I was so shocked that I got an ear full for basically doing nothing but telling I guy I migrated stats and the price was 10k so I told one of my friends who was online excatly what happened and the friend being the defensive type basically sent tell to the guy saying that his behaviour was unacceptable I dont know exactly what was said but I did feel a bit better knowing that someone had told this guy he shouldnt act like this. He's still on my ignore list and will be for the rest of my time with swg.
