that imagine designer is going to be removed from the game?

granted, i just heard it from a random person in game...and i was extremely freaked out. but then somene else came and said the same thing! eek!

as the very proud player of not 1 but 2 image designer character, i find this very distrubing! lol

someone reassure me, and hold me!!

There are many folks who want ID gone. Especially since they now feel that they lost Stat Migration to "give value to a worthless profession".

Don't think it will be happening though, the worst is the 'function' of ID may be drastically changed or incomplete like Smuggler.

There was a thread about this a couple weeks ago. I believe it was Kwee who posted a reply saying this was just a rumor and not to worry.

Yeah they can't just remove a proffession from the game, I mean it's like castrating a man, it's just not the original product to which you have gotten used to. And besides, ID rocks

No, ID will not be removed from the game. The Devs are much too busy kissing butt to and making things easier for the Jedi (sister kissers) to remove a profession. The only way the Devs would even think about removing ID is if enough jedi whine like Luke about not being able to migrate their own stats.

I don't think that's the reason at all. Is it? wouldn't it be a)'cos it'd be too much hastle to get rid of it and reimburse SP and so on.

and b) If they were to listen to the jedi on the point you said why wouldthey need to take the whole profession out just over the stat point. Make's no sense does it. I don't think you really thought this through did you?

They wouldn't take the profession out directly. They would do it indirectly bygiving the ability to changestats back to the players. That would take the profession back to the way it was before - a non-paying job just like all the other entertainer professions.

Since June 2004, running one of the game's first completely nonviolent characters. Testing the limits of non-combat MMORPG play and trying to have fun into the bargain (although the developers make it difficult).

Combat is no longer compulsory.

Of course they will not remove us IDs... else they won't have put much development time into revamping the id-interface and decorating our Salons AND compose music for them... that would be like doing the whole jedi-revamp and then simply let the stupid profession-grinding in as a way to open the jedi-stuff, which isn't going to happen either.
