Foods and drinks should get fat slowly to a character (and this should make the character a slower runner), and personal trainers should make lose overweight.
Cosmetics andhair coulours should desappear in two or three days.
IDs should make up warriors with camouflage paints in the faces. This paints could make gain Camouflage skill bonuses.
Like holoemotes, another type of holoprojectors could make gain Camouflage skill bonuses.
Any more ideas?

Definitely don't agree with the weight thing. Not everyone wants to be a stick figure.
I could maybe see lipstick fading, but where would you draw the line for hair coloring?
Just judging from business, I'd say IDs are still pretty useful.

Actually, IDs arent useful for improve the game experience, only to improve the visual appareance in the game.
At the beginning, all professions in SWG were simbiothic. Then even IDs could help you to make better work your profession (stat migration). But now... who really needs an ID?

Let me ask you this. Do you look exactly the same as character creation, or do you have blue hair, white skin, or something that only an ID can do?
Oh, and FYI, stat migration was added almost a year after release. "In the beginning," ID's only had aesthetic abilities.

Actually, IDs *are* useful for improving *some* people's game experience. Just because *you* do not think so, doesn't mean it isn't true. Plus, as it was mentioned before, the stat migrations were added a year after launch and then removed. WE happen to be happy about it. Also, an ID has never had a symbiotic relationship, except as another person who can enhance someone's experience in game.
1. One does not *need* new clothes. Yet, by having great outfits, tailors enhance people's game experience.
2. Changing colours of your speeder or spaceship isn't a *needed* thing. However, changing the colour of these items *does* enhance *some* people's game experience.
You are entitled to your opinion. You don't have to visit an ID. However, to come into our forum and then diss our profession? Totally not cool. To diss those who *do* feel our services add to the game experience? Not cool either.
I have a suggestion. Just don't use one if you don't like it.

Ive been a Master ID on Kauri since August of 2003. I have MORE than a few suggestions.
1) make loot schematics ID's can make. decorative things like hairbrushes, mirrors, a little makeup tray.
2) tattoos for humans. just a simple 12 style open palette set of tattoos that humans can place on arms or backs. (hey i
dont know how, i only come up with ideas)
3) for the love of god NEW HAIRSTYLES
4) give us the ability to ID VENDORS this would be an amazing way to get ID's the revenue we so deserve and give people
vendors that dont look like they've been beaten with a Fugly stick.
5) i agree cosmetics should be like clothing, wear and tear over time, must be replaced.
6) new holoemotes would be cool, maybe something that can last longer than 22 seconds.
7) and everyone in the damn galaxy is constantly asking for black eyes. just give them the damn
black already. please.

Check out my notes from Fan Fest 2005. There is a good thread about it all, including a lot of good questions and follow up. I think you will like some of the things that are going to happen.I'm tickled pink (literally) that they're fixing "my" bug..aka the "Swimming" bug for Lok (home planet) and Talus.

And yes, my home planet is Lok also I'm so sick of that damn swimming bug. if one more ID customer says "lol im swimming!" and cancels the ID session my head will explode. Right after CU the swimming bug was also on Dantooine, but of course, they fixed that one immediately *grumbles*
P.S. just checked out your notes. I only saw a few of the things I mentioned, but still, its a start.

This particular bug should be fixed on TC... once it's back online I will go and check for it.

I feel quite useful as an ID now. New hairstyles and such are always welcome.
