Maybe because Jango was TKM mainly?

TKM / Master Bounty Hunter is not possible under the current skill point system.

edit: That said, once the CU is released, I think elite-elite professions based off of prestige points would be totally plausible, and make it worth it to stick with a profession. I mean, if I am a swordsman, shouldn't the skills I gain from that help in regard to my fencing? Elite-elite professions would fix this.

I just think that Prestige Points will keep you go alot further when you become an elite elite...

Master of the Melee Arts is a much cooler title then M. Pikeman, M. Fencer or M. Swordsman

I would love to see added something like a New "Master End-Game" Profession. little confusing but let me explain

So like lets say you Master Pikeman, Swordsmen, and Fencer, You would "unlock" a box for "Master Blade Wielder"

or Master Commando/Master Rifleman you would get a box for "Elite Spec-Ops Soldier"

or Master Bounty Hunter/Master TKA you would get "Mandolorian Soldier"

or Master Rifleman/Master Carbineer/Master Pistoleer you would get "Delta Force Soldier"

or Master Medic/Master Doctor/Master Combat Medic you would get "Elite Doctor Solider"

or Master SMuggler/Master pistoleer you would get "Crime Lord"

or Master Ranger/Master Scout/Master Squad Leader you would get "Intel Terrain Officer"

Of Course after mastering these professions needed for a skill box, there would be some sort of trials, all solo-able, just time consuming and perhaps using some knowledge or add a random element to each quest needed to master the box. Like to become a Mandolorian Solder, you would need to get yourself a jetpack. Or Crime Lord would require some high level hits of NPC's like a Dark Jedi Master etc. Or Elite Doctor Would need to keep a squad of soldier npc's alive in a epic battle staged weekly or something.. I Dont know, just some random ideas i was thinking about.

Each Master Profession Could have some clothing or special weapons or gear associated with them.. a Master Blade Wielder Could get a weapon that is only certed for that mastery box, that uses its own skills or all the skills of all 3 professions but more effectively, such as a lightsaber useis granted upon jedi almost. Or The Elite Doctor Could buff with a 20% bonus or Have a Longer Range of Healing or More Effective heals. Or a Crime Lord Could get granted use of special clothing and a elite pistol.

There could be some sort of server wide ranking system also, i dont know. Alot to think about here, gives people something interesting and more of a goal to grind something that normally you can fill all your skill points with master professions in 5-6 buff sessions if your experienced. I dont know. what do you guys think

Nooo, jedi got 2 whole publishes....lets donate some more to regular proffesions, give them something to master for a year instead of just jedi..

-I support a Galactic Civil War fought between regular, average players... Simply strict, hardlined Imperials & freedom lovin' Rebels fighting for control of the galaxy. A Galactic Civil War fought not with glowsticks or lightsabers, but with blasters, lances, and how much guts you have. A Galactic Civil War which reflects the timeline, the destruction of the Death Star, the absolute control which the Empire has and the brave Rebels trying to break up that reign... The extinction of all but a few rare and special Jedi. That my friends, is the Galactic Civil War and that is what we have to aim for.

I really like this idea. This would add a whole lot of new content.

But what about crafting professions? Say you master Weaponsmith, Armorsmith, and DE. You could then become a crafter who specializes in creating "Mech Assualt" type armor with slots for weapons, higher resists or perhaps have it be an assault droid or sorts. err, that was a pretty bad example. I hope you understand, its pretty late here

nice idea, but may I suggest giving a certain advantage to the high lvl ranks? and maybe instead of using weapon XP, after you master the 3 necessary, lets say: Master Pikeman, Swordsmen, and Fencer, you would start to earn Prestige points, like when mastered a pilor profession, and you will be able to choose skillboxes, without having to spend SP...

This idea has been floating around for a while now, and in my opinion it is truly amazing. The major focus of this game for most peoplehas shifted to obtaining a Jedi and if some sort of system like you mentioned was introduced into the game the results would be great. The psychology is simple... currently, a lot of people feel they need to become Jedi in order to maintain a fun gaming experience (ie. being powerful). If there were alternate pathways that offered similar benefits to a character's strength but took less time and were less tedious, they would become much more attractive to the people who play this game. If you want some sort of Jedi control added to swg, look no further than this.I hope to see a massive show of support for this idea and hopefully the devs will begin to listen

couldn't agree more! about time we (the non-Jedi grinders, and fans of the TRUE star wars story) get something, equally fun, but slightly less powerful then Jedi. But why slightly-less powered you might ask? Well, I don't know that, and I feel that a master elite-elite should be able to kill a Jedi, after all, Jedi's are NOT invincible...

My ideas were just something to base this discussion on. You're absolutely right though... maybe there should be a profession that rivals jedi in strength

while yes a jedi can take down a ancient krayt with 400k ham with relative ease, BUT a master tka/doctor can also take down a jedi with relative ease, just a reality of the game that hopefully the CU will repair
