Thread: NO I don't have RAGE Can I do the new missions that aren't on KASHYYK?

just the question in the title...
If the answer is no... that's pretty much lame. It means that for us poor RL players that got only base game, there's no more and will have no morecool content for us. is that it?
It means that if you don't plan to buy Rage or JTL (since you can only go to kash using ships) you bought base SWG galaxies for nothing and you better cancel your account now right?

/agree with previous posters. And what sucks even more is a lot of us only paid for JTL a few months ago and now it gets bundled into ROTW!
yes, this does irk me a bit
First: I still pay for my monthly subscription... soI feel entitled to new content. That's what we,re paying for right?
Second: I'm not complaining... I just want to know if us... original SWG buyer will get new content like we're entitled to get... or are we gonna have to buy every expansion coming our way and develloped by guys that should have fixed pre-cu bugged missions thatcould have been done by "non-rage buyer"instead...
Third: Yeah I didn't pay for KAshyyk so i can't go to tjhe new planet... That's okay by me. That is mu choice. But there,s some new missions that can be done without going to the new planet (bobba fett - mort in dearic etc.). Allow me then to feel entitled to be able to do those missions since I still pay some monthly fees...

I would have to say that this:
Cant just someone answer my intial question without flaming plz?
it's really no big deal.
I just wanted to know if I can do some of the new non-kashhyyk missions since I'm too poor to buy Rage... but I still pay monthly to play that game. Or does my money only pays for a siren's call chapteronce in a while?
Ihaven't meant disrespect to anybody...
I'm just a fellow SWG addicted player that's all...
thanks... it has the merit to be at least it's a an honest answer... And a good advice. My account is cancelled.
Don't know why you have to be insulting about it tho Dweibokyt...

Adventure packs for EQ2... that was the beginning of 'paying for content' idea of SOE.
Anyone wonder why WoW is beating the SNOT out of EQ2? According to New York Times, WoW has well over 1 million subscriptions. EQ2 is under 1 million and SWG is under 500K now.
Before the flames hit, why am I STILL here if I'm such a WoW lover? Because this game is the only good sci-fi MMO out there and its the only game out there with a really SOLID roleplaying community.
Still, I think SWG would be better if SOE thought a little less about cash and a little more about the players... considering a large number of those million plus WoW subscribers are people who quit SWG for it and refuse to come back due to the number of lies SOE has given about SWG. I won't list them, but SOE hasn't been honest with us and now they are forcing us to pay for additional content while Blizzard installs new dungeons at no cost. I wonder how many sci-fi nuts will leave when Starcraft MMO happens; and yes, it will happen sooner or later (Starcraft is how old and it STILL sells).
Basically my entire point: pay up if you want the new content. The kicker is, you'll prolly finish all of the new content in about 3 months... and then wait for the next expansion. How long did JtL's 'content' last?
