This game has so many great ideas and concepts that were either, a) never really completed, b) completed but never used the way they were supposed to be, or c) simply overlooked. So what aspect of SWG gets youre vote forr coolest, yet most under-rated, under-used, under-utilised aspect of the game?
Id have to say languages. If languages were harder to learn or not available to everyone i think it would be alot cooler. Part of my reason for choosing twi'lek was for the lekku langauge. Id love to see more people talking in there native species languages and needing interpreters in groups.

While the languages do sound cool in theory, I do think it would start to become a hassle to have to speak through an interpreter every time you wanted to tell someone something.
I think mounts get my vote for under-utillised aspect of SWG though because I think they look much cooler riding rather then vehicles but are just too darn slow

I think the size of the Universe is under used, every time theres a new NPC mission brought in or the like you always get them in the already very busy places. I would like to see other citys coming to life.

This one I have to agree with, would add more gamplay to SWG aswell as you wouldn't be hunting around the same planet, you could enjoy the Galaxy as a whole ![]()

If every race could speak basic then that change would be ok with me.But now that groups will be usefull again, having a wookie say to you "Raaarrr worrrgh rrraghh!" during a dungeon or an instance (Or THE instance in this game...) would be annoying and would do more harm then good by having groups wipe because of lack of comunication. This game being a social game, It needs easy comunication.

You could still understand them in groupchat/tells like you can now.

I was VERY happy to see the new story arc missions including Rori. It's probably the least visited planet (or moon i guess) in the game, but I spent my first few months there since I had a low performance PC at the time which made shuttling difficult. It was nice to see the places I used to know so well. I even killed a few squalls for old time's sake. If it weren't for that mission, I wouldn't have been there. I hope we get more missions in "secluded" places like that.

I think the most under-utilized aspect of SWG is the ability to name objects.
I have been composing a set of rules to re-create playing card decks. The card numbers would be the name of the item, whether it is an armor segment or a fiberplast panel.

Definetely NPC cities. Outside of Bestine/Coronet/Theed, most towns are deserted. The unfortunate thing is, the least populated cities are the ones which look very visually appealing.
Apparently Keren is supposed to be the trading hub of Naboo, but it isn't. We should have something along the lines of NPC city bonuses (similar to player cities), to promote something unique in that city.
Eg: 10 - 20% Entertainer increase in...; 5-10% Slicing Bonus in...; 5 - 10% Medical Bonus in...; etc.
I'd love to see some people in all the cities. I'm very partial to Keren - it has a unique layout, would be amazing if that city was busy.

I totally agree. I have also to tip my hat for the developers...some of the cities are so unbelievably detailed and have an unique atmosphere to them. Must have been a lot of work
But as you said, not many people gather around these places and all the nice and well done cities are deserted.
I mean Coronet is busy...but only on the starport and somehow i think Coronet has a "cold" feel to it.
I hope the devs will work on some "atmosphere upgrade" in some cities when they have time

I'd say player races. In swords and sorcery style games you're stuck with the "classic" races, but in SWG you should be able to be just about any species you can find walking around NPC cities.
