This game has so many great ideas and concepts that were either, a) never really completed, b) completed but never used the way they were supposed to be, or c) simply overlooked. So what aspect of SWG gets youre vote forr coolest, yet most under-rated, under-used, under-utilised aspect of the game?

Id have to say languages. If languages were harder to learn or not available to everyone i think it would be alot cooler. Part of my reason for choosing twi'lek was for the lekku langauge. Id love to see more people talking in there native species languages and needing interpreters in groups.

Hmm! well, I can see this is a roleplay point of view...however, A better solution would be to simple make it optional per player. Then all you'd have to do is go to ctrl-O, enable the option to have all characters and npc's to use their native languages (meaning only you can see the native languages) and then you would have what you want somewhat.

As far as one of the things that I think need to be utilized or at least liven them up a bit is player cities. When you go to player cities, they are like ghost towns with only a few npc trainers standing in the same spot. At least when you go to static cities theres npc's walking around and sometimes even saying stuff like "I must get back to my patrol" and other specific things. Player cities just seem so dull to me....unless an event is going on, you never see many players in player cities.

I often think to myself, "now heres a metropolis with all kinds of buildings but noone is here".......just shouldn't be that way. So I say liven up the player cities with random npc's that walk around. The type and number of npc's could be based on the cities level....also, some limited form of streets would be nice too. For example, when someone places a city hall, the ground around it should convert to concrete and extend all the way to the edge of the cities radius but taking into consideration of hills and mountains. I mean camps convert the ground when placed, why not cities.

Replace "comprehend" with "speak" to unlearn how to speak it too.
Careful, you won't get asked, and don't unlearn basic or so, might be nasty

FACTION BASES!!! In my opinion they are under-utillised. I started December 2003, so things were up but it was still rare to see bases. See, they have bases count for things on purpose, Detachment HQs count for Cantina/Medical Centers. The ONLY time this was utillied was in Mystic Sands on Corbantis. They had a Detachment HQ and it was used for this, You could go in there and there was a few entertainers, some doctors, and a bunch of rebel players on guard for imperials and enjoying themselves. They should add the 2 bases they had on TC, the Major HQ and the Theatrical HQ. These bases should have things that will make you want to stick around them and sociolize! I want to do that with my bases, but my guild is still too small to have a good turn up each few days LETS PUSH FOR NEW BASES!!! Also read my Faction Rank System, it has alot of awesome info about GCW updates. Look up Faction Rank System Version 1.4 on corbantis or the GCW forums
