I don't think this will even make people want to wear faction armor anyway. Why would we have to pay more FP to be able to wear what we buy? Why can't it just be a unlimited use schematic, with no need for the buyer or crafter to fork up even more faction points?

I was looking forward to wearing my Scout Trooper armor, but now, I don't know if I'll be able to afford it now.

Looks like another time-sink to keep people subscribing. You'll be able to EVENTUALLY wear that expensive Faction armor but the exact length of time depends on weither you're JTL enabled(since FP is easier to get in space), your combat level on the ground(so you can better fight the Reb Commandos or STs, whichever you're grinding for FP), and the time you can devote to gameplay. I feel sorry for the non-JTL enabled guy who only has an hour or two a week to devote to grinding. Of course SOE doesn't feel sorry for him because all they see is the several months of subscriptions he'll have to pay before he can finally wear his armor.

Yea thats ridiculous. I can understand a 1 time faction point cost to get a schematic, be it 1-10 uses. or you can get different costing ones. IE 10k fp for a 1 use, and 100k for a 10 use, or something. But yea, Charging fp to equip is stupid.

Once again they say one thing like wanting us to wear the armor. Choose a side and Make it more Starwarsy. And again they prove that they are IDIOTS when it comes to basic comon sense.

I have to agree...this... I'd rather have the armor just be available from recruiters still, instead of doing something this far out there. SOME FP...perhaps a couple thousand...to bio-link, I could understand, but I didn't pay this much for my entire suit getting it from a recruiter (admittedly on a planet where the costs were low, but still...) And I'd have to likely pay a million credits for it on top of that? This seems to me like a way to try to keep the stuff rare in-game, if they're that worried (sorry, armorsmiths) just have it stay something you buy from recruiters and pay faction points for. That made a good deal of sense to me anyway, having the armors be issued by your faction.

I really hope this is a joke. Why on earth would you include faction armor and then purposely make it virtually inaccessible. The armor would decay long before you could ever earn enough FP to replace it!

again the devs prove their incompetance. This has got to be the most #$^$$# change i've ever heard. Not only will faction armor be millions of credits, you'll see hardly anyone in it. Great Job Devs, kill faction armor.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- I support NO DECAY.It should be run like EQ . No 20k price cap on the bazar and everyone can craft. Its has worked for 7 years on everquest and there is no decay plenty of money and no crazy prices.

Decay is only good for crafteres and bad for everyone else.

You all do realize that there is 3 weeks left to test the CU right?
that is plenty of time to write to post to the GCW Correspondent and have him request a change in costs. OR you can write a non-cynical reply in the Bug/Issues thread for TCEP3 and state your concerns there.

I think that the Armorsmith costs or just right but I do also believe that the Bio-Link costs are to high to make Faction Armor something people will actually enjoy.

Also remember that no armor decays with PVP death. So you could make a Faction Armor set for PVP and it will last you a pretty long time.
