my god thats ridiculous... I hope they balance that out, atleast half or a third that price. I could never afford that. I was hoping faction armor would be just as common as regular armor, if not cheaper to encourage the GCW...

Ok, when you say the buyer needs to pay the following to equip, what do you mean? is that how much it costs to buy from the recruiter? if so i dont see the problem, these prices are about the same as what they are now, unless im missing something

Faction armor is no longer bought from a Recruiter. It is made by Armorsmiths. Armorsmiths buy a 10 use schmatic, price listed above, and make the Factioned Armor.
Once you buy the armor you must Bio-Link the armor to you. Once Bio-Linked it can be traded but NOT WORN by anyone else but you. The Bio-Link fees are listed above.

ohhhhhhhhhh now i get it, thats pretty sean mcniel! well. do you know about the old armor, reconisance i believe it will be called, will we have to "bio-link" what we have? or will they delete it all and make us start from scratch?

I 'think' all existing faction armor just gets converted. Reports from Gorath and Bria are still coming in. I believe they get about 5000 in the new system which is about 40-45%.
You should not have to Pay for the Bio-link for what you already have. You will need to Bio-Link it but the cost should be 0 FP just like on TC Frogs.

im beening pretty n00b eh, but when you say they got about 5000 in the new system, what got 5000? the condition? and 40-45% resistance?

Yes, it's going to be quite crazy in how much Faction Armor is going to cost. Resources, Time, and now Faction Points coming out of the Armorsmith.
I'm assuming the listed FP costs are for a planet that's pretty even with the Empire and Alliance?

well If you have St or Reb armor unless your already in a fprofession that can wear it its useless to you. Second If you have it and can use it you will need to Bio link it. Price i saw was like 5fp. now is this just the Armor you already have price or is it Same for new and Converted. I dont know.

sorry to burst your bubble but existing crappy faction armor converts to crappy 3000 resist armor and you still have to bio link it

Eck. That does suck. I figured at least the Bio-Link would be free seeing as how everyone alreasy paid for their armor the first time.
You sure it isnt a free Zero FP Bio-Link?

Ok, iv been on TC-Ep3 and i know how it works. I hope faction armor is still bad, becase i died from a tusken at TKM/master carbineer
