I have a hard time trying to fish with my scout, anyone have any knowledge on how to do it right? I don't fish in real life so I'm not sure if i'm suppose to tug, reel in, tug left, or tug right when I get a bite. Please help if you can.

U have had good results from tuging up after it bites, but alwayas letting it sit idle when nibbled on.

Where can i find some bait ? made a pole but it says i need bait ..

A scout can /forage for grubs and other bait...

It isn't wise to upset a wookiee

scouts can /forage for bait or it is available at the bazaar terminals.

I forage a lot so I get most of my bait that way but once you catch a fish, fillet it you get chum. The Chum can be used as bait.

What exactly is fishing FOR? Just relaxing fun, or does it server a specific purpose??

I am a total newbie here but it seems that since SWG is a skills based system fishing should increase your foraging skill and especially your deception skill. Just think of all the chum you could have made from that big one that got away.

I have always wanted to do some fishing. I found some great little hidden spots on Talus...

What type of XP do you get for fishing? How much XP? How many fish do you catch at once?

As far as I know, just from beta, you gain no exp for fishing and there is no use for the fish, like cooking.

I too have not been able to catch a fish, I got close yesterday but nada.....

I got the nibble, then bite!! Then I landed the fish but after that it went into this long drawn out message spam of "You real your catch in a little" "Your catch charges toward you" "Your catch moves away from you" finally ending in a OOPS you lost your catch.....

This is rather lame IMO, I mean I just click start fishing and from then on I feel like I have no control, they should just take this POS mini game out.
