I know there was a post on this already somewhere, where a bunch of ideas were stated to maybe sink money BACK into the economy so the rich DO NOT continually get richer and the poor get poorer by being shafted by rich people. Here are a bunch of random of ideas me and my bro were throwing around of stuff that SEEMS easy enough to implement and can really Take Out all the Extra Billions of dollars that seems to be floating around the economy. Prices i made up based on ahazi's economy and i think i have a pretty good idea about how much people have in their bank and what they would pay for these items, I know i would buy one of each of these things once they came out for the price i listed lol.

I think the goal here is That these items are all "Status Symbols" for the rich, and there are enough "rich people" out there that everyone will want at least ONE of these items even if its only for a million credits.

Lets Say a Theed Palace you can place anywhere for 10 million credits.

How Bout a Star Destroyer for 10 million for 30 days

How bout A New Type of Vehicle for 5 million each.

What about Factional Armor Like Dark Trooper Armor that had like 80% resists to all cept stun with 40% for like 20 million.

What about certain Types of Guns for lets say 10 million Each.

What about Paintings that can be sold at the bestine museum for 5 million each.

What about a purchasing a Tie Fighter or X-Wing for your City for 25 million credits as a decoration.

How Bout Players Running for the Bestine Political Positions for a Month at the cost of 50 million only accepted in the form of donations

How Bout Specialty houses such as a encampment on endor for 30 days for 5 million (housing, hospital facility, cloning tank, cantina, etc, sorta like the FS village setup type)

How Bout Being able to "Buy" Tuskens by bribing a executioner for 3 million credits and having 5 tusken Kings Be your escort for the day (controlled through 1 pet device)

How Bout Being Able to Buy a High End droid for 10 Million credits, Sorta Like a BH Droid or the IMP Type droid (can be bought of jawa's)

How bout being able to buy a combat droideka from Nym for 10 million.

How bout being able to Buying a Player Zoo for 5 million (something to display your pets)

What about Jedi Being Able to Buy a Custom Color Robe for 10 Million Credits

How Bout Jedi Being able to buy a Jedi Starfighter for 15 million.

How Bout Musicians Being able to Buy a New Instrument that has special effects for 2.5 million

What about High End Commander Imp or Rebel Clothing for 5 Million

What About Nova Trooper Body Guards only controllable by a general and bought with faction points and 10 million credits 100k ham 50% resists etc.

How Bout Being able to Buy SecretResearch Data for BE Products to enhance them for 500k a pop.

How Bout Rebel Commando helmets for pilots for 2 million a pop.

What about Something as simple as a Different Type of HAT For Humans (selection is limited between a headdress and a warm hat really lol) For1 million!

What about a Permanent Tatoo From a Special NPC Image Designer on your Body (Rebs can get a logo on their chest or back and imps can get the same thing) The Can Be Tribal Arm Bands on your Arm or Even on your wrist lets say i dont know, Cost2.5 million each, Free to go back to NPC at any time to be removed though.

How bout a Cool Hospital Setup Premade for Player Hospitals for 5 million

How Bout Being able to rent Specialty NPC Dancer and Musicians for special events (such as the BITH band or something) costing 3 million for 2 hours.

What about Having the Ability To have a Storefront INSIDE Coronet or Theed right by the starport and having a single vendor there for 500k a day, limited to 20 vendors and you can only do it once, and only for a few days, will help new crafters get there names out there quick.

What about a Security System for Your House or Cantina (you can pull up names of people who entered and looked around and for how long) for 500k

and by all means post your ideas here i would love to here them and maybe the devs will take notice

For the stuff you listed, 500k-10 million creds is WAY too low. Some people are around 1 billion credits now, and would be able to buy everything you listed, and then some.

However, I digress.Looks likea good list of ideas.

If this wasn't very very limited it would ruin immersion for many people.

How bout A New Type of Vehicle for 5 million each.

A one use schematic would be better so that it doesn't hurt crafters.

What about Factional Armor Like Dark Trooper Armor that had like 80% resists to all cept stun with 40% for like 20 million.

A one use schematic would be better so that it doesn't hurt crafters.

A one use schematic would be better so that it doesn't hurt crafters. Making them to good would hurt lots of the pooer people.

What about Paintings that can be sold at the bestine museum for 5 million each.

A one use schematic would be better, but not as needed as some of the others.

How bout a More advanced type of Structure like a cooler/larger Cantina or Hospital for 20 million that comes pre-decorated

A one use schematic would be good, and predecorated would be really nice.

How Bout Buying a At-At for 20 million and a ton a FP and you must be the highest imp rank to get one.

Unless they were weak this would be extremely be unbalencing, and it would ruin immersion for some people.

It would be great if they could somehow make it so that you would buy a design and give it to an id who would than "learn" it and be able to use it on you

If you take all this high end stuff and keep it away from crafters it could really hurt them. This game is meant to be a "player based economy" so I would make these things and link them to players as much as possible. Some of these things could be extremely harmful to the game(At-at/nova troopers), if they were significantly stronger then ch pets.

i didnt want to take anything away from crafters being a crafter myself.

The reason i am thinking this should be implemented is to take some major dollars out of the economy. Thats the main thing holding back new players and such, the game that has been around for so long and starting from scratch is VERY long and time consuming and if people get dismayed too quickly there will never be returning or new players.

Like i created a New account on valcyn, i am on ahazi currently on multiple accounts. Anyway so i started to try and master rifleman/combat medic over there. I started off like a newb of course and if it wasnt for the kindness of others loaning me credits in the begining, it would of taken me a month to master a crafting profession, selling Bio engineered goods or chef or something to make the initial money i need to start and be somewhat competitive. people are very generous, ive been given as much as 250k from random people who just gave it to me to get started. I mean, a good set of comp armor, few good rifles and fencerweapons easily will run 1-2 million just to even be close to competitive in a fight, few varieties of chef foods in crate, spices, random meds, shuttlefairs and other misc costs for buffing and stuff, you need a few mill to get started. Its very tough

But now lets say 3 months down the road now, all this "excess billions" will be elimitated from the game by people buying all this stuff. What happens is it drives prices down on goods cause this money isnt being traded and hoarded by people anymore. Like Chefs for example, crates of good food runs 150-250k credits. What if all of a sudden no one was buying anymore cause they couldnt afford 250k. They would eventually need to drop the price.

Problem is now is that the rich get richer every day. Newbs dont have the 11 month old spawn of the best polysteel copper at their disposable for example and cannot afford 100cpu on it to even make a run of good armor and be competitive, its a tough thing. I had 3 friends try to get into the game and they could not earn money other than selling loots and junk. they all went back to WoW unfortunetly since it is the "latest and greatest" and the population is up right now in the begiining

It seems to me, and I loath to admit it, but it seems to me, the only way to get credits out of the game, with out hurting crafters, or unbalancing the game, is to balance the amount of credits coming into the game against credits going out.

the best way I see to do this, is by linking the source of credits mission terminals, (except for the occasional christmas gift, all game credits come from mission terminals) with the exhaust of credits. as I see it credits seem to leave "circulation" in only a few ways, travel cost, structure maintenance costs, and repair costs, either ship or vehicle.

the system could easily be closed, by simply setting the mission terminals to only pay out what was collected yesterday. this of course is flawed in so much as how do you keep the days credits from being consumed in the first four hours after system reset. and of course you will have dozens and dozens of people that don't understand this is a player based economy screaming "Nerf"

I don't have all the answers, but I would suggest that SOE take a look at how many credits are going into a servers economy, and how many are coming out.

That way the working class and casualplayer base is not hurt, More neat new stuff is not introduced into the game just to be gobbled up by the power gammer/rich player base, crafters are not lef out of the loop everyone is happy, well except for the population who is having to pay the tax

What about placing a cap and simply taking away any existing credits that are above that cap?In real life the FED sets interests rates to manipulate the economy so why shouldn't SOE?

Well i mean a month sorta is a long time for the casual gamer to start "having fun" and what to keep in mind is i had extensive knowledge of the game already. I made most of my money of lucky loots. I grinded business 3 to get a vendor and started buying Misc Loots from the bazaar and vendors. Managed to get 3 adhesives off the bazaar and bunch of other stuff like schematics, a return of the jedi helmet, and other rare stuff that helped me get started. When i initially made my first account ever took me a while to get a basic grasp of the game.

I mean more on the point here. There are lots and lots of people that have over a million credits, i mean i play on 5-6 accounts on ahazi and i cant remember the last time i had under 10 million credits on any account. I would love to show off my money more and buy one or moreof these things above. Like I have BH armor, i have RIS armor, i have a beserker rifle, i have nightsister biceps and rotj helmets, my house is full of rare and out of game loots. Would love to be able to Buy something that 50% of players probably cant afford. It helps the economy too by drastically reducing the amount of credits ingame. And there will be that 3-5 month buffer zone of people knowing what is coming so they wont spend 600 cpu on some old wooly hide because chances are the armor they make with it wont sell or sel lightly, its a slow but necessary thing i think

How about a rich persons view

Sometimes, the rich person isnt an evil, money grabbing psycho who is hell bent on profit.

Sometimes, he works hard and over the course of his gameplay from the first day of launch, makes his fortune.

The rich person usually likes the 9-digit bank account because its an accomplishment and something that should be rewarded and respected.

And even though you see people bid millions on the trade forum, the fact is most people dont save their credits, andif they bid 9 million, they probably have 9.5 million.

I have just under 200 million legitimate credits thanks to my vast knowledge of resoruces, resource mining and crafting ventures. If you doubt this, do a search on my posts in the lowca trade forums and add up my last 5 auctions. They easily add up to 150 million. And i just bought a full RIS suit for 40 million a few hours ago.

Just because someone had the time and willpower to earn a large amount of credits, they should not be penalized.

Money was WAY too easy to come by before the solo nerf. And even if you didnt want to fight, within a month you could have been making millions through resource mining (not now though with the bottoming out of grind resources). Its how i did it. I worked hard with a single harvestor until i could afford two, then three and so on.

Not evey rich person is out to jack you for all your credits or not help a fellow player when they are in need.

Take this into consideration when you bad mouth others.

Thanks,

I'm a casual player/working class and I have 9mil(lost 15mil gambling a couple weeks ago). I would raise it to 8 mil, so that people can have more of a chance to build up before being taxed.
