I don't care what server you're on, I'll get you the money
My UI settings have been reseting for over a month now, along with many people I know.
This is almost as annoying as the old jump 70m when gettting off a bike bug.
ANyone help pleeaseeee ?

I can't find it at the moment, but look for a file called user.cfg or something similar, examine it, and if its the right one, make it read-only.
Maybe that will work,

Scratch that, its not user.cfg. But I am still searching. I can't believe they would encrypt a file like this. Anyway, I did some snooping in some launcher files and found a swg_config.xml. That might be it, but again, I can't find it anywhere to be sure.

was happening to me.
I went in starwarsgalaxies, and deleted my profile.
Since then, it's been working fine.

I do believe this is the only way to fix it also. Just make sure you save your files with your friendslist, macros and stuff because i'm not sure all your settings are saved on the server. You could possibly lose stuff like your friendslist, macro's or aliases files.

That didn't fix it either? Specifically, what's been resetting? Only thing I've had happen to me is one of my characters lost her waypoint monitor off the screen, and I had to delete her profile, which, like the others posting here, also fixed my problem. However, to keep from losing your macros, only delete your server specific folder in your account profile--your macros are inside your profile folder somewhere, which is why you can access your macros from any server.

If it's what was happening to me.
Everytime I logout, everything resets to the syles it is when you first create your character.
I had to delete my entire profile, macro's inculded to fix it.

i did the deleting my profile dealie but it still messes up my combat tab... I have it pulled off to the side in its own seperate box and everytime I log in the tab itself is gone
So far so good with the rest of my chat tabs though they seem to be ok...I am not going to hold my breathe though.

As many others I did:
- Make sure that the Profile Directory is not set on read-only
- Deleted the UI File
- Renamed the UI File
- Renamed the Profile Directory to get a new one on next logon
- Moved the Profile Diectory out of the Star Wars Directory to get a new one on next logon
- Did a full scan
- Completly desinstalled and installed the Game again
- Formated the HDD and installed Windows and the Game again
- Installed the Game on 3 other PC
some of that were CSR helps and still the problem is there...
So if one of it helps you fine but for most other Players the problem isn't fxed yet
