As i heard it is to match the new film coming out, and that Lucas Arts are heading development of SWG to bring it more into line with the star wars story

New planets, couple of new player species and some new creatures no doubt alongside the long talked about CU. the new planet issue is a long discussed idea from months back.

Regardless of what it is I will have to have it. I just cant be left out. I really dont play JTL but I needed it because I wanted to have everything SWG has to offer.

The good news about it is that CU testers get to test the expansion too
I'm happy

Also released today...
http://pc.ign.com/articles/594/594329p1.html
Not an official SOE release, so info may need to be taken with a grain of salt. But...
- New planet (Kashyyyk, wookiee home world)
- New missions
- Asteriod mining
- New ship (Jedi starfighter from ep2)
- New mount
- (in my opinion) a stupid name: Rage of the wookiees. Nothing against our furry friends (I like my arms where they are), it just doesn't sound that impressive.

What is up with the mechanical arms? I wonder if they have any mods on them.

Is it just me or do you find those examples of the cybernetic limbs rather fugly? Way too clunky-looking imo.

Yes, in one of those screenshots the arm isn't really attached/doesn't pivot right with the shoulder.
