I wonder if we will have to pay for it. the IGN article says it will be a download, but that doesnt mean it will be free

sad thing is that we have gotten as much info on the expansion in just a few hours, then the year the devs have been workin on the cu....

i would say even more info cause we got more than pics of perdy weapons, but an entire planet!

I think the updated game mechanics will be the CU, and all of the new weapons/armor will be included in the expansion pack. This had better not cost more than $10. The weapons and armor are a long-needed remedy to the cookie-cutter mentality of this game and really should be included for freein a publish, considering that after purchase, wepay $180 a year to play. That's 4.5 new Playstation 2 games, except Sony gets a much bigger chunk of this change.

That said, I'm speculating right now and my hypothesis is based on their past motives and methods. They now have 20 morecreative staff membersand are trying harder to please us.

The CURB will be free, while the expansion will cost.

i read this a while back listing all the planets on the starport travel boards (someone translated it):

Departures
Endor, Alderaan (cancelled), Tatooine, Corellia, Coruscant, Nar Shaddaa, Kashyyyk

Arrivals
Dantooine, Nal Hutta, Naboo, Talus, Coruscant, Bespin, Kessel

maybe there is the list of all expansion planets that have been planned?
