Thread: Help needed Gated on Nym theme Park

I screwed myself on teh Nym theme park and was hoping someone can help me fix it.....
I got the first mission from Jinkins and skipped teh trip to the cantina since I knew the answers to the question from the slicer, well i go out and get the chip/part from the droid and bring it back, but Jinkins tells me I haven't finished the mission yet, even though I have the chip.part in my top level inventory.
So i try going to the cantina and talking with the guy there anyway and he then I figure i will delete teh part and go out and get another one. well sure enough i get out there and I can't get another one.
So now i have no part for Jinkins and no way to get another one, plus Jinkin doesn't take it from me anyway.
So how do I fix this? I sent a ticket in the CSRs but not sure they can fix it either.
Anyone else have this problem and can help out a dope such as me?

Just a random thought...
Have you tried going somewhere like Eisley and picking up work from one of the random NPCs? As I gather it, when you're doing a theme park mission, you're working for the character. Perhaps going to work for someone else then heading back to the theme park might work?
I know it probably won't... but it can't hurt to try?

you're supposed to manually pull the item out of your inventory with your cursor and hand it to jinkins.

yah i tried grabing another mission from someone but that didn't work, I actually did this screw up a month back, and was again trying to fix it, but to no avail.
and nuts, i never thought to drop it on him...... ARGGGGG
ok is there a NPC that will reset the theme park for me?

yup he still thinks i am doing the mission for him.... I guess Iwill need a CSR to reset the mission for me.... or give me the disk back, if not that then I can't complete the theme park

Nym's park still isn't fully completed from a development standpoint, I think.
To end quests, as someone else said, you have to open your inventory and drag the loot onto the NPC.

I'm dumb, this same thing happened to me 'cept I didn't know the thing was for the tp and destroyed it cause I thought it was junk and now I'm screwed. Every time I talk to the CSR's they say to consult my local gaming community to solve the issue. I'm growing to despise some of these people. Is there any way that anyone knows of that I can get this reset?

If you know the WP for the facility to get the grenade casings and computer hard drive, you don't even need jinkins. You don't need the quest to get these 2 items and you can get as many as you like. Drop them on Nym and you're finished with the quest, badge, and have the loot.

I wentto the cave and opened the droid in the back room, but it was empty.... Are you saying that the disk/part is a spawn item, and that if I wait long enough it will respawn there?

Yeah, all of the Nym mission drops have a spawn timer. Ended up with quite a few of the buggers clogging up my inventory when I was mapping those out for the site in my sig [/end plug] 
Either it was still resetting from your last trip, or someone else picked it up. Just head back again, they will show up.

Thanks very much all for your help.... I will head back there over the weekend and try once again.
