Thread: Nyax and Sif no longer spawning?

I ran into something interesting today while running around on Talus and Corellia. When I went to Nyax, no one was there, so I was all, like, "rock on," since I figured I'd have a chance at killing him for once. So I fought all the way to the bottom of his bunker find out (much to my dismay) that Nyax wasn't there. I figured maybe someone had just gone all the way through, ignored hishenchmen and just killed him. So when I was going through Sif's bunker to get the Corvette stuff, I decided just to wipe out the whole bunker and see what Sif dropped. Again, no big bad boss person. So, testing a theory, I went back to Nyax again and fought all his henchmen to find, that's right, still no Nyax. Anyone know what's up?

People just camp the hell out of that spawn for some reason.

I assumed so,I just didn't see anyone when I went, plus I thought it was weird for all his henchmen to be there but no Nyax

Yeah they are on timers...his henchman spawn more than they do...if ya do a search you can probably find the exact times.

trust me, you dont want to meet sif...she has her whole darn family spawn with her. Its a tough fight, even for a buffed TKM. But I wont wear armor so who knows. But she is rarely camped on Intrepid. Does she drop nice loots?

Sif is rubbish loot, just a poor DOT vibrobalde and maybe the odd CA/AA from my experiences.

I know about the crappy Sif loot. I was just going to finish it for the, "because I was there" factor.

Lord Nyax spawns a lot less than his followers, Ive stopped by there often to only see his followers, and not him.

Here is the scoop on my server with Nyax. He respawns to the minute, exactly every 3 hours and 40 minutes. After constantly going there and him never being there, I set my toon there to see when he spawned, and sure enough, spawn time ended up being 3 hrs, 40 minutes. But what I noticed at the time i was waiting, is someone logged on got bufed and shortly after, he spawned, they ran down and killed him and then immediately logged of after exiting the compound. I found this be interesting, so I added this person to my friends list
You know what I found out? This person, literally, everyday for 1 week, was logging in everyday from server start to server shut down, EVERY 3 HOURS AND 40 MINUTES.
This really began to piss me off, i would be out on dath and see him log on and then about 5-10 minutes later log off, every 3 hours and 40 minutes exactly. So, one saturday I decided im gonna ruin this guys day, because i did not feel what he was doing was fair. I woke up bright and early one saturday morning, the night prior i had logged myself and my Doc alt there, and proceeded to buff myself immediately, while i was buffing, sure enough, this guy logs in. I rush down there and killed him before he could. i set my egg tiemr for 3 hours 40 minutes and proceeded to go back each time throughout the day and outdamaged him for the kill. this guy wouldnt even hardly respond to tells, I think i pissed him off. I hoped I had proved a point and maybe he would stop, but no, for the nextfollowing days he began doing the same.
Mind you this person is on my friendslist and this is the ONLY time he ever logs this particular character on
A few days later, i stopped by there one evening and noticed a new person log in right before spawn time. So, out of curiosity, I added her as well. Sure enough, now both these two were logging on adn of every 3 hours and 40 minutes. So I decided, I would try and do the same thing to her as I did to the other guy in an attempt to discourage them from doing this.
One problem.....She is a Master riflemen, who can shoot with Advanced Strafe, ONCE VERY FOOKIN SECION FOR AROUND 4500!!!
I was not able to outdamage her.. 
So for the past two weeks, Ive watched as these two log on and of every damn day from server start to to server shutdown, essentially ruining anyone else my servers chance of killing him.
Something needs to be done about this......

yah there are ppl who log on at server restart to get at the ns spawns, and thats all they do, same for krayts, nyax id imagine is the easier to camp as his spawn is set in stone nad he spawns in the same place and doesnt take aslong to kill as a ns elder or min or a krayt
i think camping is against the rules though, isnt it a form of griefing? i mean i can understand if someone happens to wander upon nyax and gets him for themselves, but if someone times this to make sure no one else gets him, then its a form of griefing and yah should inform a CSR, they may watch hima nd see if he does nothin else but log in at the exact same time intervals just to kill nyax

That has got to go in my top ten most pathetic thing you can do with your life list. The sad thing is he is probably selling that stuff on ebay or something. Nyax is one of those weird loot places. Sif usually just gives outok stuff, but Nyax has been known to drop some +20 SEAs and it is camped more and more on every server. With all these POIs, loot isa nice bonus, but really just getting to face Nyax, Sif, or the Acklay is really the culmination of your adventure in those places. I did the geon cave for the first time and was depressed when I got to the end and found 4 people camping the spawn. I have no desire to go back.

I disagree, thats rewarding someone for losing, the current system works well and rewards the winner.
Complain about what exactly also? Its their toon to do with as they please, and if killing nyax ever 3:40min is what they want to do so be it.
