I'm on the FS quests now.
Everyone else in the Village it seems are in some big hurry to rush through everything as fast as possible.
Me? I've decided to take my time and do things at a lesiurely pace.
I'm going to work on doing ALL the quests.
I'll still convert my extra exp. points when I go to work on the quests, but I'm not going to stay at the Village and grind out the experience needed all the time.
I'm going to work on finishing my TKA/Pistoleer template and do some exploring along the way.
Who is with me on this?
Let's not turn the FS quests into some sort of race that you have to plow through quickly.
Let's instead take our time and have fun building our templates, changing them, and rebuilding them again!

Same as me, glad that i am not alone with it
I am in no rush, i simply enjoy all the great things and the little details everywhere
But i am afraid, 90% of all others are in hurry...

I'm glad to see that I'm not alone
I want to sit back and explore everything the village has to offer (not to mention finding out what loot there is to be gained).

I am no rush. Simply because if I thought about it, grinding all the xp to fill up my newly opened fs branch would make me cry. Well, at least give me a bad taste.
I've been playing this game since Beta 3 and I kind of hologround, but I refused even then to make this game a job. So I continue to play it like a game, and I still love it.

Heck, I'm not even glowing yet.
Working a few theme parks now, will get to the village when I can. I'm not destroying my CH/BE template to grind as fast as possible, so I figure I might finish late 2005. If not, I don't care. To me, grinding is the antithesis of fun.

Me neither, I figure at current pace I'm 6 months or so away from even getting to Jedi Initiate, and then it begins all over again. Why kill myself getting to something that's gonna take forever anyways? Gonna take my time doing it, eventually get to Jedi, and still have time to smell the Alderaan Flora along the way

I was a Droid Engineer since beta, and finally gave it up. Going TKA and had some pistol skills too. Just recieved a visit from an elderly gentleman yesterday, after getting Glow on friday, but havent really done anything since. Maybe tonight.
I dont understand the people that grind to the top and max out as fast as posible, then wonder why there isnt anything left to do. /shrug

Agreed.
Got glowy 2 days after pub 10 released.
Saw the old man last Friday and logged out 10 minutes later.
Encountered the Sith guys Saturday afternoonon Dantooine and killed them. After I finished the quest series I was on I went to their camp to get the datapad forthevillage.
Went to Naboo Sunday to do theImperial Themeparkand I'm still there finishing up.
After that I plan to do the krayt skull quests.
Once thats done, I'm not sure whats on the agenda. If there are any good organic spawns, maybe I'll harvest for cash. If not, maybe I'll go to Dathomir.
Unless that planet is going somewhere, I see no reason to rush in with the crowd. Actually, even if Dathomir is going somewhere, I see no reason to rush. There are also a number of rare spawn babies I'd like to acquire, so maybe I'l hunt for them a bit.
I already have a job... Last thing I need is a second one. I'll take my time and enjoy the journey, thanks.

Me neither, I expect to finish in 8-9 months. Time for JTL time to check out all the quests. Luckily being a smuggler I can do crafting and combat pretty easily and don't have to bork my template. I think the new quests are going to be interesting. I really enjoy the whole concept of the village and it makes so much more sense then profession grinding.
I can't believe this isn't the way it was since day 1. This whole new system has a story line and is logical to me, from glowy and on from there.
