Thanks for the chart, very helpful. Been confused by this from the start.
In fact, Cafa's right. If this was someone's idea of an improvement to the food system, I want some of what they're smoking.
Also, the Won-Won that's mentioned a couple times in the article does not appear to be on the chart... /confused
OK, I take it back. Either the guide is ridiculously confusing or the system is absurd. I'm thinking maybe both.
Sorry, I'm just as clueless as I was before. ![]()
Also, you can't stack drinks and food of the same artibutes, they will cancel each other out. Some only last for seconds, not minutes
When using said food and drinks buffs, I never noticed any more improvement of hams, or abilities, from eating and drinking these foods.
some have a nasty opposite effect, like ruby blie.
Kind of useless now with not being able to use bio-enged components in chefs' and tailors' crafting.![]()
Great for noobs, but not good for those of us, that filed nurmous bug reports on broken foods, drinks, and bio-enhanced clothing.![]()

Here, just make food combos by using this player guide that describes just which foods work well together, this way you do not need to worry about food groups and/or priority. Just buy what this guy listed:

right im a noob when it comes to food. question is does spice fall under the same catorgory also? so that it cancels out the food?
Spices should all stack with foods without cancelling each other out...
While we are at food, can developer team confirm each food (especially accuracy & melee/ranged defense foods) actually working?
Well, thanks for giving us at least something to work with. The whole "foods stack", "no they don't", "uh-huh", "uh-uh", debate has been a pain since the CU. The bugged period between roughly pub 18 and 20 where foods were stacking when they weren't supposed to (under the described system) didn't help any, either.
And as a tip to consumers: while the foods in the chart do have the bonuses listed (barring a few typos like Mando Wine missing the Health bonus), some have a few quirks. We chefs aren't always entirely sure whether it's just bad descriptions, bugged behavior, or mismatch between expectations and actual behavior. +Defense and +accuracy foods sometimes don't appear to have any effect on your character when eaten/drunk (although a weapon switch tends to clear that up).

It looks like they're missing the entire desserts line: Won-won, Kiwik Swirl, Parwan Nutricake, Vagnerian Canape (although it's info is included in the final example), etc.
TH, could you fix that up? Thanks. ![]()

We're putting that together now. Sorry about that.
