Soooooo they are making a guide about how things should work for players who have just bought the game to be misinformed about? I mean, since some foods and / or drinks do not increase said stat, there would have been bug reports that the Devs would use to acknowledge known issues with right?
That doesn't sound very professional.
Very well written guide, but as a Chef, I find this almost offensive. Like having a feature on Krayt Pearls or how great Bounty Hunting is on Kashyyyk.
Astromech Numbers recently showed we are the second least played profession, and its no secret why that is. Since the CU a fair shareof our buffs have been completely bugged. Aside from foods not working (triggered effects), Artisan foods outpower most of what a Chef can offer to hungry customers. There are many foods giving the same effect with similar durations that only make the artisan foods more of a viable option.
I know everyone can't get what we want, and a friday feature isn't an insight into your priority in fixing bugs, but its just that since the CU I have barely bothered cooking anything because anyone with 44xx Artisan can make more useful (or at least popular) buffs than what a Master Chef can make. ![]()
Thank you for finally explaining the stacking laws though.
EDIT: If you don't plan to revise the stacking rules or chef anytime soon, will you at least put these buff priority numbers in game so we can tell what stacks with what more easily?

Hear hear! In your extensive testing, did you see that while most of these do work as intended, quite a few do not? Ruby Bliel is a prime exampleof this faux pas. It is supposed to reduce your stim use downtime to 30 seconds as opposed to 60. It does not do this. It is supposed to last 18 minutes(roughly). It does not do this. This has been the biggest thorn in many a persons side since you launched the CU. I also hear the melee/ranged defense foods do not work at all.
Nice guide for buggy foods.
End of the page, last two tables:
Vagnerian Canape 35 4 Attribute Modifier: Health, Health Regeneration and Mind Regeneration
Vagnerian Canape Health (200) Mind Regen (200) Health Regen (50)
Is it Health/Health Regen, or Health/Mind Regen?
Oh wait, it's not the first two buffs, it's the two most powerful buffs that determine the buff group...gads, who designed this?

Here, just make food combos by using this player guide that describes just which foods work well together, this way you do not need to worry about food groups and/or priority. Just buy what this guy listed:

Handy, thanks.
Still seems like this ought to be simpler, though. These food rulesread likethat Star Trek episode where Captain Kirk makes up the rules to the card game Fizzbin: Each player gets six cards, except for the player on the dealer's right, who gets seven. The second card is turned up, except on Tuesdays. Oh, look what you got, two jacks. You got a half fizzbin already. If you got another jack, why, you'd have a sralk. You'd be disqualified. You need a king and a deuce, except at night, when you'd need a queen and a 4. Oh, look at that. You've got another jack! How lucky you are! How wonderful for you. If you didn't get another jack, if you'd gotten a king, why, then, you'd get another card, except when it's dark, you'd give it back...
