Ok can any1 clear up the air on this subject ever since last thursday update the loot kits dropped drastically we were getting 4 loot kits drops a night then after thursday they were gone whats the deal we were really getting into the game any1 have any ideas?

They seem to have slowed considerably, not that I'm complaining. Was getting 1-3 loot kit drops per mission, nothing else.

Been running a lot of Imp Faction missions. After they upped the drop rate, I was looting more than a few a night. Now I haven't looted any for days.

drop rate increased dramitically for me... 5 missions of mokks and jantas... i got 6 rug/gong pieces

also looted a crystal off a tuskan commoner that randomly attacked me while krayt hunting..

Dramatic nothing in Adhesive drops....

Its frustrating to not get those Adhesives.

I'm not sure whether it's psychological - i.e. you think you're getting more becuase it's a new thing, whether it's simply mathematics - i.e. once you get one piece, there's (obviously) a chance you'll get the same piece again or whether the Devs are evil and they're keeping track of how many pieces you have and dropping the rate accordingly...

I've noticed a slight reduction too. Actually I have looted over 100 loot kit items and never got an adhesive. This is cruel and unusual punishment. The devs should seriously consider increasing the drop rate on adhesives. They completely took the fun out of this chase.

And what is up with that smell?

Just my observation, but I've never recieved an adhesive off a low level mob.(ie meatlump bashing outside coronet)

I agree. These loot kits are pure torcher.

Since the patch I have got....nothing. I have been through the Drall cave and Corsec base. I usually get at least 6 items from these places. Instead I got locked containers...yippe.

As for the adhesives...man that just sucks they drop sorare. I thnk I'm going to end up having to buy those pieces.

Devs! You need to check on this. Loot kits are starting to suck again!!

I have been spending about 2-4 hours at a time hunting and after the loot was increased I was getting a loot piece about 30-35% of the time that I looted a corpse. Now that number has dropped to about 8-10% of the time. This is from a few hours a day over the last 3 days looting low level NPCs around cities, low level caves and aa’kuan. Also I Would like to note that before this last week I was looting a corpse about 15-18% of the time, Now I’m up to about 25-30% of the time. Now I’m wondering if they increased the drop rate a little over all to make up for the NPC on steroids coming back to the game. Then again I maybe getting crappy luck.

Anyone else keep track of their loots and if so have you seen a change in drop rate %?

I haven't noticed any dramatic decrease in the loot kit drop rate. However I have noticed I get the same piece three times in a row. The first time I noticed it I had looted orange rug thread 6, for three times in a row (no other loot dropped between my loot searches, including disks or weapons). Then I went for awhile without looting any more pieces (maybe an hour) and I looted three more identical pieces (I think it was blue thread 3). I thought perhaps the same piece was dropping because I was in the same spawn area. So I decided to run around killing npcs over 300 meters away. After about 30 minutes to an hour I got three more identical spawns but that time it was broken up by a locked container (gong 2, container, gong 2, gong 2). Idon't know theodds of getting the same piece in a row multiple times like that butI would think it would be really small considering there are 50 possible pieces. So perhaps they changed the drops or the way things drop since last Thursday. For the last day or two I haven't looted three of the same piece in a row, but I have looted two identical pieces in a row. I have yet to see another adhesive since I looted two (gong & table adhesive, one right after the other) a couple of weeks ago.

If they haven't changed the drop rate, they should look to see if things are dropping they way they intended.It would be interesting to see the numbers of actual completed loot kits across the servers (but please don't make it a Friday Feature!) The adhesives on my server, Scylla, are still going for 1-5 million credits each. That's several weeks after they announced the loot kit drop rates as being increased. They should tweak the rates for adhesives so they will drop more often than they have been.I'm not saying they should drop as often as the numbered pieces (threads, bases, etc.).But perhaps they could increase the drop rate of adhesives to be more in line withthe otherun-numbered pieces (gong skins, gold plating, dye, patches).
