OK...we just went through town killing all fed dub...so my fed dub standing is like -2000...how is this going to affect me in the game? I know, silly to ask after the fact, but the only stuff I could find in the book was about the Imperial/Rebel factions and nothing about these smaller ones.

Thanks.

That is a little outdated from Beat and should be updated very soon. But it gives you a quick idea of things you need to kill to raise faction with certain MOB's and then also to Lose it.

same exact problem. Is the game bugged right now? Or is it that once you go Imp or Reb it doesn't matter anymore. Very odd.

Do factions influence NPCs? Ive noticed some Npcs dont talk to you, was wondering if you had to max out the appropriate faction. Maybe thats why some cant see the BH camp, or hermit.

When I started the game I kept reading that you could be one faction in space and be one faction on the ground. So for example I'm a rebel on the ground but I could go free trader or Imp in space. Is this still true?

A buddy of mine who started training as a rebel decided to go free trader in space but he had to quit the alliance to do it.

Well you could never be the opposite faction in space then you are on the ground but the ability to be neutral on the ground and a rebel or imp in space was removed. It should still be possible to be a rebel or imperial and be a freelance pilot though.

ok so how does it work? IF he's a rebel on the ground why did he have to quit the alliance to become a free trader?

He didn't have to quit the Rebellion. Since I'm not him, and I didn't see what he saw, I don't know what happened, but he did not have to quit the rebellion to join any of the Freelance squads.

And actually Allia, you used to be able to be opposing faction in space and ground, until they fixed it.

Any new player, which are neutral by default, can be a rebel or imperial pilot. I know that at least one of the rebel squadrons requires you to be a rebel to get into the abandonded rebel base. Do the other squadrons have that same issue at one point or another so you have to eventually join that faction on the ground?
