Stopping shot doesn't stop anything. Fan shot hits random pools, body shot 3 hit's a specific pool that is easily healed in pvp. Disarm shot doesn't work and neither does dodge. I'm about to hit master pistoleer, what threat am in in pvp? Flame away.........

For some reason I seem to be getting my AP bonus (using the DX2) against vynocks and only vynocks. Add that to the current state if disarm and I think it's odvious where we fit in, we are vynock killers.

And don't tell me I spammed eyeshot for this one.
Look at the combat window and tell me what I'm using.

but since the skills are random, unless i getreally really lucky, i may end up with brances i don't want, (say in crafting) and i'd eather have to, A. retrain and redo my templete to match the xp type i have to convert, or B, wait 3 more weeks do another quest, and hope i get a combat related one?
Sort of. Everything is in Phases. 1-4. Each time around it shifts. Each phase there is a set of 4 skills you can learn, for a total of 16.
What makes it completely lame, is that Phase 1, which we are in now, has absolutely NONE of the skills I want for Jedi, or anything that would do any Jedi any real good.

Collect badges do dungeons = Play the game
Visited by old man-->sith attack-->start quests
Grind out combat, weapons, crafting etc xp = Play the game
The whole point of the change was to remove the grind of AFK people, the new system is made to promote gradual progression.
Those that worked towards the old system are being rewarded for their effort.
It works its simple, wheres the problem?
Play the game, enjoy the game or leave.

1. I have to become glowie. I'm not very glowie at this point, but i think i know what i need to do.
2. get the old man to visit.
3. get attacked by the sith.
4. find sith camp, kick butt, take names, get WP to jedi training villige.
Acutally on TC2 after you did the Sith camp you had to go talk to a woman on Dathomir (forget her name) to get the village wp, but I imagine by now everyone knows where it is anyway.

Oh, no worries there, I will. I'm just wondering if it's worth the effort. I got no issues what so ever with it's lay out, seems like they are mixing questing with grinding... way to go, it's all this built in down time i hate. I played pretty hard and regular for a good 8 months or so, and masterd alot of proffressions i wanted to master, (didn't really holo grind) and pretty much did everything i wanted to do... I have not real intrest in PvP... I have no real intrest in flying a star ship, the only think that's really piequed my intrest is playing a jedi.
Now i quit playing this game around about patch 8... I didn't see the point of holo grinding anymore, if the jedi system was being changed, and i figured i'd just wait it out and start up again with the new system. That and City of Heros came out...
anyway, here we are, the new jedi system... and everything i've learned about it is, basically, I have to get in line and wait for my entry into the village... and how will i know when it's my turn? I can grindwith the best of them when there is a reason for me to do so, but, the toon i want to be a jedi is already a master of his trade. The only route i want to take with him is Jedi hood, and, from what i understand, i have to WAIT even longer, maybe even months before i get a shot at progressing him in the direction i want to go. At least that's the impression i'm getting, and that's why i came back here and posted this topic, i want to know how long i have to wait to get started with the village quest? Once i start glowing (hopeful this weekend if i get enought free time) how long after that before i can get into the village and unlock my trees so i can accually grind towrds my goal, instead of sitting around waiting?

Doesn't matter, you can't get in or even see it. There is a nice fog layer around it

If you think this is going to remove AFK people then boy do you have a lot to learn! Expect a whole lot more afk'ers trying to max out their xp to convert it into FS experience.
The quests are a good start but seriously the xp to fill the boxes are a sad joke.
