when i saw that armor, the first thing that came to my mind was "The Dark Crystal" =P
anyways, ima shoot wookies in the foot

They pretty much had to add the armor, since wookies will have armor in Episode 3 and that's what it looks like.

There are two new wookiee armors now on Test Center. For a complete list of ingredients go here
A few points:
1) A chestplate will take 4-6 identical armor padding ("wookiee pillows") to make (depending on which style of armor you're making). This, to me, seems a bit excessive on resource costs....
2)However... the "hunting armor" also takes horn, which is currently impossible to get in quantity because it is a looted resource (think mollusks and milk 2 months ago). The other armor does not take horn. Horn is being replaced with a more reasonable resource. The armor should be good to go.

There have been quite a few posts on the armorsmith boards complaining about having to use wookiee pillows also, because no one seems to be able to get them. I hope that things go a little smoother this time. I expect to get lots of requests (demands) for free schematics again, though.

Remember: it's your job to run your business how you want, not to interrupt your life so that every wookiee on the planet can have armor. If supply/demand works, that's great. It's not your job to make sure everyone else is also having fun.
Of course! I will continue to make wookiee pillows for our guild armorsmith anyway. I am just remembering some of the things that happened when the first wookiee armor came out. It wasn't very fun. 
I didn't like being blamed by both armorsmiths and wookiees for being the cause of the wookiee armor shortage.

Momoko,
And its for that reason I am starting a run of 200 pillows right now. With another couple hundred ready to go. Plus my ranger side is going to have the other components ready and waiting.

Il be making no more wookie padding than i did before, (which was coincidently exactly none before)

I really only make them for the guild armorsmith and that is all. I know in that case that the guild can help me out in getting the materials. Outside of the guild I had too many armorsmiths who wanted me to sell high quality wookiee pillows made of 20-50cpu materials for 2-3cpu.
