Thread: Don't watch the DVD release of Star Wars Movies!!

1) Nobody keeps stuffing batteries into the droids
2) Nobody is getting a whole bunch of emails all of the time
3) Protocol droids actually talk to you
4) Speeder bike has a gun mounted on it
5) You can buy stuff from the Jawas, and sell stuff back to them
6) The moons are really small, instead of large
7) Vader is actually walking around, interacting with people
8) A Jedi Master works with Jedi-wanna-be's, they don't just run around killing everything that moves
9) Wars do not make one great
10) A Jedi never uses their light saber to attack, but only to defend

Except Luke on Dagaba.
2) Nobody is getting a whole bunch of emails all of the time
Um How do they Leave Text Messages (like the ones on datapads) with out some form or Com Traffic
3) Protocol droids actually talk to you
True but only the Anoying ones. The good ones wait to be spokin' too
4) Speeder bike has a gun mounted on it
Yes the Military Version of Speeders have Guns but who says the one in game is the Military version(You Don't See Hummers Driving down the Street with 20mm Gun on the roof IRL do you)
5) You can buy stuff from the Jawas, and sell stuff back to them
Yeah but with some notable exceptions its mostly Junk (there shavingers remember) so why would you want it
6) The moons are really small, instead of large
Um the Forest moon of Endor and Yavin IV where both "Moons" of Gas Giants Look up you can see them. The "moons" of Jupider are almost as big as Earth. Moons are just smaller then there Planets. Rori and Talus are not moons
7) Vader is actually walking around, interacting with people
True but He was instant Death and Had Lucas's Permition to move. BTW if your an Imp I beleave he does intercate with you.

11) None of the musicians has "AFK" over their heads
12) Nobody is spamming stuff at the starports
13) Nobody gets out of a vehicle and "transports" 200 m away
14) Droids are not allowed in the cantina
15) I don't see any bank terminals anywhere

Thanks for the Correction I was not shure on that one and forgot to Delete it when I could not conferm it from Star Wars Data Bank.

4. This is a war, many of the speeder bikes are being operated by Imps or rebels, they should be armed.
9. Most great people have been made outside of war, few by acts in war. War is just something one does because attacked, and those that do the attacking are all most never great.
10. Luke was not in Epsode 2, he was not even born at that point.

- There is XP-38 vehicles
- There is no composite armor around
- DL44's actually kills something in one shot
- Noone runs around with leotards or shorts
- There is hooded cloaks
- There is NO neon green-hot pink hairs or white skins on humans
- Lightsaber doesnt give error when Obiwan trading to Luke
- X34 is actually goes faster

Well, actually the town I live in does have hummers driving down the street with 20mm guns on them, but I have to admit I live in an unusual town.

He meant 'Yoda in Episode 2'
Luke used saber to attack either, see Episode VI father-son duel

16) On Tatoooine, nobody seemed to get diseased just by standing near the Sarlacc Pit
17) On Endor, nobody was getting diseased or poisoned just by driving or walking around
18) While driving speeders on Endor, people were able to draw weapons and fire them at each other
19) When people were walking around on Endor, they weren't getting attacked every 5 meters
20) Ewoks could be bribed with food

I know I'm not exactly following suit with the thread here, but speaking of the DVD release....
SPOILER ALERT BELOW
I couldn't help but say "Wow, that's awesome," out loud when I saw the end of Return of the Jedi with the Hayden Christensen (sp?)Anakin standing next to Obi-Wan and Yoda instead of the rather unrecognizable old one. Also, the Theed celebration along with Mos Eisley, Cloud City, and Coruscant was also a neat addition. What did you think of these changes?
