Thread: Advice Needed from the DWB elites

My guild and I head to the DWB frequently, but prefer to keep a full group of 8 only to shorten the time strains. We do very well and can kill anything using good tactics, but there is one place that we always run into a huge amount of problems, the keyspawns are easy because I angle everyone to aviod LOS, but after the 2nd keyspawn, when you head into the room with 3 levels, I have been trying to pull the mobs 1by1. This however does not work, and they all came in. I also found that they like to shoot through walls, so even when I was standing against the wall closest to them, they would shoot us when they havnt even entered the room. Is there a tactic to use besides raw firepower, or a place to aviod LOS, because it seems that wall is one htey are able to fire through. Thx for your help.

Sry, if this is a bit hard to read, its very late....

last night we stayed in the room where the lone sbd spawned, a mdef with ai went into the room and dominated mind on the bloodguard, a couple ran in and we killed them, we used this tactic with the mdef tanking them all with ai untill they all were dead.

yeah, that is the room we stayed in too, but it seems they all like to come in if ya shoot one, maybe Dominate mind or Infect is the way to go,or we were just unlucky. Thx for your help guys.

I was testing /infect last night against Blackscale Guards, and all that had line of sight still rushed me, but I think the issue might be bigger, that the wall there is not registering as a wall because mobs are shooting through it and aggroing people when they are behind it too

My guild faced the same problem at exactly the same point. I'm A MDef, walking in with AI on & area attack goingdid seem to work quite well whilst the group stayed back & took them down..

Or another tactic that works well is....

Edge into the room (right by the door) bit by bit untila question mark pops up on one or 2 (rather than the whole lot).. Then nudge back slowly, soonly one or 2 come running at ya.. Drag them into the room where you mates are standing, then club em to death, rinse & repeat.. Just a case of using tactics & a littlebit of luck..

Hope that helps ya..

Yeah, I got a decent idea... if we run into alot of trouble, just have everyone burst run down to the safe room with the terminal. Then either have a rezzer use his 'hero' ring, or have a Jedi with a rez arm equiped let aviod incap run out, get incapped, and then rez a rezzer. The mobs will return to their spawn points where we are dead, right? I always remember that happening in the DWB besides the keyspawn mobs

ROFL, I have the easiest way to do this. my guild and I took about 2 trys to perfect it, but there is a certain jedi template that can make all these guys not bother anybody lol, I'm just not gonna tell. lets just say my entire group walks right through this room smiling and never gets touched.

Cloak is the easiest way to do it, but then its no fun .
We just have 1 person edge their way into the room so it only aggros a few. rinse and repeat until the top level is cleared then you can move your way down to the next.

We did the Overlord with 5 people! We had 3 jedi damage dealers 1 rifleman/doc and a swordsman/doc! Was so easy :/
