well probably a stacker template with some doctor in it. Like (off the top of my head) fencer 4040, tk master, and doctor would be pretty good.

Also swordsmen can kill nightsisters pretty well, as can pikemen (or so I hear)

Also master rifleman seems like a popular choice also.

Master Pike/Master Doc

I can solo a Krayt but not an NS Elder (Silly broads are resist to all I have). I am a quiet hunter and I don't like huge groups. This template has afforded me the opportunity to hunt almost everything alone, while leaving some mobs (i.e. Corvette, DWB, etc) hard enough for me to need some help. As an MD I, of course, can heal all states, wounds and buff myself. Master Swords/Master Doc is also a nice template for PvE (They can solo an Elder). If you want to walk fearlessly into the void known as Star Wars, I suggest the former effusively and the latter nicely Good luck to you!

Best PVE templates would most likely include either Swords or Rifles... or both. You can pretty much solo anything in the game if you have good buffs\armour and some decent medic skills.

Careful there - combat revamp is supposed to "even" things out regarding combat professions. All I have seen here are Melee (and some rifle) so I assume you are talking about what is powerful at the moment. After the revamp/upgrade/whatever, Melee professions won't be the most "uber" . . . . . right?

This takes 247 points, as I count 'em:

Novice Brawler - 15

Unarmed Brawler - 14

Swords in Brawler - 14

Master Swords - 63

Novice Rifles - 15

Rifles in Marksman - 14

Master Rifles - 63

Novice TKA - 6

Meditate TKA tree - 14

Novice Medic - 15

Pharmacology tree - 14

But what good does it do you in PVE if you can't harvest creatures?

PVE, after all, includes creatures as well as NPC's.

I'd change it by dropping Pharmacology tree anddepending on some good Stim B's, and taking up Novice Scout, making the total 248. You'd have 2 pts left over to take Hunting I in Scouting, adding to your harvesting skill. With a harvester droid maxed out (105 to 117) you'd get some good harvests on creatures, which sometimes have sold for 250+ cpu.

But that's just my opinion, and Hey! I could be wrong! -- Dennis Miller

But by doing that you will have a harder time soloing harder things ie. krayts and elders. Also most people when doing PvE are usually loot hunting not meat hunting. Although novice scout with one of those +118 harvest droids can make you TONS of money.

Currently:

MPike/MDoc/Scout 1-0-0-0

Obviously in my opinion. Pikes are unparalleled in power, if you strike Oil with the loot.

I used to be Master Swords/Master Doc with scout. I found this to be a very nice solo hunting template. With that you can buff yourself, kill just about anything, and harvest the resources. Swords deals out tons of damage and will allow you to solo krayts, elders, GDKs, pretty much anything except rockshapers (which is no big loss). I imagine you would find equal power with master rifle/master doc. I liked having doc simplyto be completely self sufficient (buff, heal states, cure disease/poison, heal wounds, Stim Es) if I wanted to. Every prof will have some limitations, but sword and rifle have long been the gods of PvE. Swords (with master brawler)and Rifles would be the ideal damage dealing combo, at the sacrifice of doc.

swords/medic 2040/masterbrawler/ force sensitive melee speed/ tka 4004. If you do not want the force sensitive, then you can pick up nov scout .

Note on pikes: With AP1, it is very unefective compared to swords agaisnt elders and nightsisters.

say goodbye to melee uberness in the CU, shooting someone should always be more damaging than getting hit with a stick.
