Best PVE template is the one you are most comfortable with. 
As long as it includes master swords or master rifleman

I guess that works... Seems a little redundant though. No real point to mastering TK with swords, you could go for more defense with fencer, as well as dropping the 3300 in medic and going for scout.
Like say... Master Brawler, Swords, 4004 TK, 4240 Fencer, Scout 0010, Novice Medic.
Or switching around so you can get the pharma 4.

If you want to kill Krayt AND NS you must have Rifles or Swords, anything else is just preference

Atm my template is like this:
Master Brawler
Master Swordsman
Pikeman 0020
Fencer 4400
TK 4000
Novice Medic
And hey... killing elders is much more fun in a small PA-group than soloing them.

if any pt left, pick up scout 1000....
thats a decent pve temp
however you can try my temp
im a 4304 tka, 1440 fencer, master brawler, master swordman, and 3000 medic

yeah..u missed the point where were dealing with laser blasters here...and riflemen shoot for the head....an axe u can dodge...a sniper's laserbolt you cannot

my loot hunter has the following template:
Master Brawler (1 mintue 15 second intims own, warcry 2 can buy you time)
Master Swordman (med ap, speed capped, 750-1200 max dmg PH...need i say more)
0/4/4/0 fencer ( defenses, plain and simple. high lvl sisters LOVE to hit you with states, or try)
2/0/0/4 tka (for power boost and the nice melee defense)
0/0/4/0 pikeman (for defense again..)
0/0/0/3 force melee speed (allows me to really customize my BE clothing)
and i believe i had 21 points left over. i alternate between medic and scout.
i do have a master doc alt who is run on my 2nd comp. she does my healing.
as stated above in other posts, rifleman/swordsman were the overwhelming choices, with pikeman as a close 3rd. lets take a quick look at why:
Swordsman (scythes=med ap kinetic, power hammers=med ap blast)
Rifleman (t21=heavy ap energy, dxr6b=med ap, acid)
Pikes (lva=med ap kinetic)
take the rest of the professions out there and only two professions have access to an effective medium AP weapon, and that would be carbineer with laser carbines.
All pistols are zero to light ap
All carbs are zero to light (with the exception of laser carbs)
All unarmed weapons are light
All fencer 1h weapons are zero to light ap
Commando has no aweful defense and takes too many SP to get a slow killing skill
BH is more for the pvp aspect, or jedi hunting, than it is for pure pve killing.
swords/rifles=pool specific=mind dmg. my choice if i had only one comp, would be master swords, get at least first aid in medic, if u hunt higher level mobs...d stim use, and then the rest in defenses.

Master Sword/Master Doc/Master Brawler and choose the rest based onyourpreference.
Sword can deal out best damage the fastest
Doc is the ultimate defense
Brawler for Int2, Warcry2 and most importantly lunge2 (extra speed is a nice bonus)
Can't really go wrong...and would be fairly potent in PvP as well (if you care)

that uses 280 skill points, wont happen

I know it's not the most "practical" choice. Ok, I dont have M. Doc to heal states, but that means it just takes a little longer to kill targets. I rarely get dizzy and once in a very-ultra-rare blue moon, I'll get kd'ed, but only for2-3 secs max. And i dont mind watching ents to get my wounds healed.
