ty motorcide. But if im fencer what should i go kill when im more advanced? Something on dantooine probably?

Well it seems that you really have helped me. Probably the toughest parts of gaining xp, is trying to get the 4th box and the novice box. It seems as if everything is either too weak to kill with fencer/swordsman/rifles or to strong. Any creatures that would be good for going up in this box?

I would say in ordr to be effective with rifles you should go with master.

so if you do master swords and master rifles with the defense line of fencer you will be a fairly tough customer.

as has already been mentioned for the early brawler and marksman stuff stick to the outskirts of the cities killing worts and such.

as soon as you can, get a good laser rifle these are the best to use when leveling rifles.

get up to the third box of all of your choices rifles, 2 handed and 1 handed. then run some missions with some good ubese armor. its best to take creature missions as the dont shoot back with bleed shots and other nasty specials plus you'll get more xp for killing the lair. than you would for killing a camp.

kill anything that you can on the way to and from missions.

then once you hit novice in one or all of your profs get some good kinetic resist comp armor a good buff, use brandy as well especialy for rifles, and head to dant. take quencker or picket missions and again kill anything that you can on the way to and from missions.

well - i can only really tell you from personal experience.

i can't recall exactly what i killed between box 3 and novice fencer, but it's virtually the same for all melee professions - i.e. something with about 5k hams and low kinetic will give the best xp/time rewards

the weapon choices should still be the same.

when i was doing it, bleeds weren't nerfed yet, so i got master brawler and did huurton huntress missions on dantooine for about 6.7k each (iirc). they spawn 2 (for about 4000xp each) at a time and 6 per nest. i'd intimidate2 and warcry2 one of them, then lunge2 and warcry the other and use one-hand hit2 until it died, then work on the other one. pop the nest, rinse repeat.

once i got healthhit1 i'd bleed the first one in addition to the above. move up the footwork tree first. it gives speed, both health bleeds and spin attack2. after that, work up the techniques tree for body hit 3.

nowadays, i figure i would get buffs, a speed sliced gaffi and some good ubese or composite. use one-hand body hit 1 on either low level quenkers or huurtons on dantooine. get in a solo group so you can get more per nest. with good armor and buffs you will do ok. once you get spin attack from box 4, use that on the same stuff until novice fencer. then start using one-hand hit2 (pretty good dmg from what i remember) until you get spin attack 2.

start mvoing up through the tougher huurtons and maybe pikets. unarmed and swordsman have fun down at the squill caves, but i think they are AR1, so fencer is kinda left in the cold here.

if a newer fencer knows something better to kill, speak up. back when i did fencer, i did almost the entire proffesion with ubese and no buffs, and very little specials.

---
for swordsman, you can get good armor and buffs and kill just about anything on dantooine quickly from box3 until you get into swordsman. then head to the squill caves - xp comes fast.

Right now im in a ditch. Im working up to get one hand 4 and 2 hand 4. But i have barely any money, and the missions i get only give 500 a mission. Not good. Anything else im dead. I have no money to get ubese or weapons. Any monster missions i can get that can give good money and xp?

Mabey something on talus or rori, or naboo or correllia?

Hey alll im planing on being a powerful profession i hear, known as master fencer, master swordsman and some rifles.

So now the question is , what do i do? I need a guide or something. Im not asking for a full review, i knwo about swordsman and stuff. The question is which creatures to fight first. From novice brawler to novice fencer/novice swordsman. The creatures i fight as i progress, the weapons i use as i progress, and the armor needed to progress. One person told me i should fight quenkers. How do i do that if im still working up fencer....odd people in the galaxy.

Anyway please help me fellows . Ttyl Bye.

most of the melee professions in brawler are very similar (just change the weapon you are using on the way up). i generally fight yard trash outside a city until i get to box 3 then put on my ubese and go fight something a bit higher on the food chain to get box 4 and novice.

during this phase use:
fencer - curved sword until you can use a speed sliced gaffi
swordsman - axe until you can use a speed sliced 2 hand curved sword
rifleman - spraystick or dlt20a

all the melee professions have the same logic. get speed, then get area attack.

fencer - use a speed sliced gaffi until you get the speed tree finished, then use a damage sliced gaffi to finish out.

swordsman - ust a speed sliced 2 hand curved sword until you can get a scythe, then use a speed sliced scythe to finish. you can also use a speed sliced power hammer if you like.

rifleman - get sniping 1, then countersniping 2, then use flushing shot to finish it out. a good speed sliced t21, laser or damage sliced dlt20a is recommended

what should you kill?
for fencer i did huurton huntress missions. they have low kinetic and fairly low hams.

for swordsman i killed pretty much anything i came across

for rifleman i did a bunch of quenker missions. they have low energy resists and tend to stay at range so you can still lie prone and shoot. if you lie prone you usually get 3 hits until they aggro - so i tended to do headshot2 then flushingshot 2. the flushingshot2 will aggro other stuff, but it has a good damage multiplier and fairly good speed.

not a 'complete' guide, but should give you a good idea

You DON'T want to do SOME rifles. Rifleman is a no dabble prof. You either go master or not at all.

/agree

I had a half-bread Pistoleer/Rifleman/Smuggler, and the Rifles part was pretty lame by comparison. You need to get the whole lot of it for it to be worth while, as I discovered when I cheated on TC to test the Jedi doohicky.

maybe you are bugged, but I CAN'T pull less than 900 credit missiosn even as a complete newb on a diff server, best thing i can tell you is, rifles is a no dabble unless you are looking for defenses, and then melee defenses are much better

Ok ok!!! Ill go master rifleman, but this brings a new question. If i go master rifleman, i either take away one tree away from fencer/swordsman. So i could be master rifleman/master fencer / 3 trees in swordsman or master rifle/master swords and 3 trees in master fencer. But then again medic is very useful...if i drop three trees from any of the professions i can get medic 4/000 .....

What to do??????? or mabey novice medic is the key..

One more thing, what is so usefull about flushing shot, it makes your opponents stand, ussualy you'd want them to be knocked down and dizzy....

I have only ever seen a cap of around 5k exp and 500 combat exp per kill. I see these on Huurtons/Pickets/Squills as well as Janga's or Mokk's. I can bet there is a 5k ish cap on exp you get per kill. So, why not solo group and do high paying missions as everyone else does. Get credits and exp. Grind grind grind! Doesnt really take that long but just do it.
