I have only ever seen a cap of around 5k exp and 500 combat exp per kill. I see these on Huurtons/Pickets/Squills as well as Janga's or Mokk's. I can bet there is a 5k ish cap on exp you get per kill. So, why not solo group and do high paying missions as everyone else does. Get credits and exp. Grind grind grind! Doesnt really take that long but just do it.
I do agree with you. But you see i have no armor, or money. I've been recently working on 500 credit missions on tatt. I wouldn't last a second on dantooine, espicially without armor. I can oly get better ones if i do a solo group, however some people don't wish to do this or the missions are too hard. Lets say i do a regular mission i probably have to take out a Worrt lair, or a weak mercenary camp. If i group with a really strong person, i can get around 1700-4100 credits a mission. But these missions are not walks in the park. I either have to face Cannable Dewbacks, or bocatts, and not the diseased ones. So its pretty hard. I can barely find anyone to help me. Other than that, its expensive to get buffs. 12k. Is the least they sell them at. Ubese armor would be sweet, but i'd have to wait a while OR someone will give me one...which probably wouldn't happen. Ubese is around..eh.....70k So i have a while to go.
YOU :
One of my favorite templates ever was master rifle/master swords with tka 4004 and medic 1000...122 melee defense and capped ranged defense at 132...i could pvp and pve and do well in both...u still have good defense and and the tka meditate and force of will was nice having...now that i have several toons i turned my loot toon into a master sword/master doctor...this is probably the most effective solo looting toon in the game right now...which is good because i play solo most of the time...with a decent set of armor and buffs i can solo just about anything in the game...just some templates for u to consider
If you have brawler 3, you should have an area attack. Also get medic skill so u can use good stimB’s then, go to Dant and take lesser Bol missions, just use area attack on the lair. Use brandy and either canape or the other mind stat buff, I like canape because it is a higher buff, though it lasts one third the time.
Just area attack the lair until all spawns are dead, then switch to whatever your best attack is to finish out the lair, and your 1.2k richer.
IF you cant afford, or don’t want to use buffs, attack the lesser bolls using area attack, until dead. Then tap the lair once, and start area attacking the spawn, once dead, beat the lair down to 50% then switch back to the spawns until dead, then kill the lair. Again 1.2k richer.

none of the brawler skills get an area attack until the 4th box

Eclipse is pretty active - you'll enjoy yourself here. Get involved with a guild, you'll always have someone to hunt with.
If hard up for cash, and having trouble with missions, you can always just fight the mob spawns at Eisley (Swoopers, Jabba, etc) and hope for good loot. You'll sitll get XP (not 5K per kill thouh!), but more importantly every once in a while you'll get something valuable enough to sell. I sell loot kit parts (the common ones) for 5K on the bazaar, and turn them over quite frequently to this day, even with market saturation. And of course if you happen upon something better (an adhesive, a good tape, or something) you can earn much much more. Don't be shy - use the Trade Forum for your galaxy to find out what auction items go for.
There's also a market for many quest items, even when the quests themselves aren't hard. For example, you can get the Polished Krayt Skull from Darklighter (quest start: Borvo the Hutt in Moenia Cantina) at tier 3 in pretty much any basic combat tree. Assuming you don't want to keep it yourself, sell it for enough to buy yourself a full set of kinetic comp and a couple of nice sliced weapons. There are many other examples - the Master Hunting Trophy from Bols in Mos Entha (or was it Espa?) is another. Or the AT-ST pilot helmet from the guy in Mos Taike...
You get the idea - all of these items have a signficant market value, and all can be obtained relatively easily.
Happy hunting!
