Thread: Tuesday Tips November 23rd –Earning Jabba's Trust
Each week, Q-3PO started a thread for you to share game tips with fellow players. Tuesday Tips will continue on with that tradition so be sure to join in and add your helpful tip. To get things started:
Earning Jabba's Trust
Did you irritate Jabba? Are you trying to get into Jabba's palace, but you have a history with helping Lady Valerian? If you want to get on Jabba's good side (if he has such a thing), here are some tips to get you into the front door:
- To get into Jabba's Palace, you need to have positive Jabba faction. In fact you can get in with 0 faction as long as it’s not negative faction (-1 or more).
- To improve your faction with Jabba, here is a list of NPC's that will give you Jabba Faction necessary to get into the master's illustrious palace:
- Valerian Assassin
- Valerian Compound Guard
- Valerian Enforcer
- Valerian Henchman
- Valerian Scout
- Valerian Swooper
- Valerian Swooper Leader
- Valerian Thief
- Valerian Thug
- All of these NPC's can be found on Tatooine and you can either hunt them by exploring the Tatooine deserts or by using the missions terminals.

Also, Hutt faction will not give you Jabba faction. Just to let everyone know who didn't know that. I have -5000 Jabba faction and 3000 Hutt faction
I like that idea. I looked on my faction list the other day and had NO idea where some of them came from.....

Go to Mos Eisley, and find the Lucky Despot. Around that area there should be a lot of Valarians. Killing them will raise your faction.
If you're looking to raise your Valarian faction to do her missions:
North of Mos Eisley and South East of Mos Taike there is a cave full of Jabba people. I don't have the WP on me, but I could go get it. There is enough baddies in there to raise your faction from -5000 to about 1000 or so.

This is very helpful to players that are just joining the game.. Jabba's palace missions have some neat loot. You cant expect all tips to be just for experienced players.

This is something that is definately on the plate, but it is pretty work intensive, though it is something we will see in the not-too-distant future.

Exactly! We have seen a lot of questions like this and its for them. I mean come on! For a lot of the vets that post on these forums, there is little new that I will be able to tell the experts in this crowd (SWG players are very smart IMHO. You should be posting your expert tips and I should be farming your tips =P )
