How do you get political xp? After you hit novice politician.
Politician experence is granted when people vote for you. 100exp per vote I beleive.
The vote/growth cycle only happens once a week. Starting 7 days from the time the city hall was placed.

I already have 70 Novice Politician XP and I have no idea how I got it. I'm a Politically Incorrect Marksman. I must have done something inadvertently.

Yes, an incumbent mayor with no opposition will receive 100xp per citizen in the city. Once in place, with no competition, the incumbent will automatically get all of the votes of the citizens and all the xp.

Hi there, I'm new to all this lark and have just placed my city hal.. W00t! Go me..
Now I can't do jack atm because have no politician xp, Was wondering if anyone could gimme a run down on what xp to expect and when. I know about elections being weekly and what have you but no idea how much I might expect from them. Useful so I can tell people who want to join when they can expect advances.
Thanks

You get 100 XP for every person that votes for you.
Citizens in your city each get one vote.
Each vote automatically goes to you unless a citizen actively votes for someone else.
Read the FAQ - this and everything else is explained there.
Good luck!
