I just called Customer Service as I wanted to clarify that my husband and I would receive the Lady Luck ship when we reach 6 months in the game. The Cust Svc rep was really nice but she told me that we would NOT receive the ship because we wouldn't be Veteran Status by the time JTL comes out and only those people who were 6 Months by the time JTL comes out will receive the Lady Luck. I asked her about after when JTL is out and she said no, only those who were 6 months by the time JTL is out. She put me on hold a bit as she wanted to ask her supervisor and be sure. Shecame back and told me that is the case for this.
Of course now I am not a happy camper, but thats not her fault. I go to the main SWG website and look up the info on the Lady Luck. Well there it shows conflicting info. From the page: http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/content.jsp?page=Lady%20Luck
Star Wars Galaxies is pleased to announce the first veteran reward for longtime players! Veteran players are those players who have subscribed for at least 6 consecutive months. These players will receive the deed for the multi-passenger ship model SoroSuub Personal Luxury Yacht 3000 the day Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed launches. This starship model has been popularized in Star Wars fiction by Lando Calrissian's personal vessel, the Lady Luck. Non-veteran players will receive the reward once they become veteran players. Similar to the Special Edition goggles, this item will not be tradable.
Can I Please get the clarification on which story is correct from a CSR or DEV who knows which it is?
thx in advance

Can I add my own query?
I've been playing the game since January, but I recently cancelled - I can play until February on this current sub, but I do plan on renewing shortly. Even without a renewal and still being cancelled, will I receive my yacht?

CSR is incorrect.
CSRs do not know what they are talking about.
Once you hit 6 months consecutive, you will get a mail in game instructing you on how to get your ship.

Ooooh...goody.
Shame I want one of thenon-vet MP ships though...
From what I've heard, you need your account to be active for 6 months, and your character to have been active for 1 month. That gets me a yacht for Christmas...

Yes after you have 6 months under your belt, you will get the ship.
Also to add in Beta when you did the /claimveteranreward
There were more then just one choice, I say this because I have not seen anyone else bring it up.
And I could be off on some of the months, but a 90 day, 160 day, 240 day, 360 day, 420 day reward. In beta though no matter what you picked it would only give you the lady luck.

I believe everybody in Beta got them to test the system and the ship.

If you have 6 months and have JTL you will get the ship...
if you have 4 months active when JTL ships... you will get the ship 2 months later...
If you lapsed for a couple days, it should not be a problem
