Look at Ronda's post about the SWG breakfast in the Fanfest forum.

I support removing combat classes if keeping them in results in a "dumbed down" game

Yep. Looks like she beat ThunderHeart to the punch.

Of course IGN has the whole scoop anyway. Wasn't sure if it was rumor or not, but it seems to be confirmed now.

Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."

I'm sorry I'm just skeptical about this new expansion... JTL wasn't supposed to push back the CU last year and it did... Did everyone else forget that? Please fix my game first.

It doesn;t look like the CU is being pushed back..they are both being debuted publically at C3, so I'm inferring that they'll both be out in time for Episode 3-which I'[ve been saying all along they need to have the CU done by then. C3 and Episode 3 is their last chance to get Star Wars fans to this game.

They say they will now be testing both at the same time rather than keeping them as two separate things. The CU will still be free and the expansion will be paid for, but both will be in testing at the same time and anyone who is testing the CU will get to test the expansion too.

Many seem confused about the CU and Expansion pack release dates. They are both going to be released on the same day, one will be free(CU) and the other will need to be payed for(Expansion 2). They are both interconnected causing the need for each to be released at the same time. So, the expansion will not effect in anyway the combat revamp.

Umm this is good theres a mention of it on IGN and lucasarts but still nothing anywhere on the SWG site only a post on the fourms?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Thay should at least put it on the "In Development" Plus theres a line on lucus that troubles me:

Be the first to experience Episode III related content in Star Wars Galaxies! For those who own Star Wars Galaxies™: An Empire Divided™, they can download and play the Star Wars Galaxies™: Episode III Rage of the Wookiees expansion on May 5, 2005 for a two week preview of Kashyyyk, the home planet of the Wookiees appearing in the highly anticipated Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Pre-Orders begin early April 2005.

What the hell's that all about 2 week preview??????????????????????????????????????????

Yes I read that, but I remember them saying that JTL wouldn't push back the combat upgrade at one point in time. I'll be *very* upset if they don't stick to their guns and history repeats itself. I waited for them to develop one expansion before they fixed my game I'd prefer I didn't have to wait through another one before it gets done. Maybe I can necro an old post from TH or someone talking about JTL not pushing back the combat upgrade.... I'm still just skeptical I heard all this jazz before.
