Plus theres a line on lucus that troubles me:
Be the first to experience Episode III related content in Star Wars Galaxies! For those who own Star Wars Galaxies™: An Empire Divided™, they can download and play the Star Wars Galaxies™: Episode III Rage of the Wookiees expansion on May 5, 2005 for a two week preview of Kashyyyk, the home planet of the Wookiees appearing in the highly anticipated Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Pre-Orders begin early April 2005.
What the hell's that all about 2 week preview??????????????????????????????????????????
It could be one of two things:
- Pre-ordering RotW automatically gets you into a two-week beta period prior to the expansion going Live (meaning the actual Live dateis May 19th).
- RotW goes Live on May 5th and can be installed through a download rather than a physical CD. The "two week preview" means you get a look at Kashyyyk two weeks before Revenge of the Sith is released in theaters (which is scheduled for May 19th).
Since it's "Marketing speak" (which can appear to be English to the untrained eye), I suspect that the vagueness is intentional at this point, hopefully with more clear information as the release date gets closer.

I think it's rather dumb that SOE is charging for new content like tis. We already have bought one expansion, the original game, and pay a monthly fee. Now to get some new content we have to pay another $24.95? It seems that they're doign everything they can to drive people away instead of bring them in.

To be fair, Everquest and other online games usually make us pay for even more that SOE has-expansionwise.
