Thread: How to become a sith? PLEASE

I have no clue on how to become a sith... i need hints, clues and most of all i would like if someone could explain to me how holocrons and becoming sith / jedi works now?
Ok, i've got a sith holocron, one of those you cant trade and cant drop - got it from the temple-dude on dantooine, but i have no idea what to do with it, and finding an answer on the forum kinda took the spirit out of me after i had tried it for 2 hours...
Please help...

You can only become a Dark Jedi. It happens some time after u get your jedi slot open you will get to choose.

Yep Jedi is a long road even by itself...then when you get killed by some BH who quitely come up behind you while you are grinding and make you lose days of xp. In the end it will be worth it when you level up high enough pimp slap the hunters but it will take sacrifice or a lot of friends to protect you.

1. Sith are different from Dark Jedi. You will never be a Sith. You can be a Dark Jedi.
2. If two hours on the forums took the wind out of you, you probably don't have the willpower to grind for eternity to get to Dark Jedi.
3. Keep your day job.

For the sake of the Role playing types I thought some one should answer this.
Step one, learn about the force, studying to become a jedi is a good start.
The next two steps in any order are:
Locate a sith temple, Yavin has a few in one place, there you must engage in archeology to unlock the secrets of the sith (for the record this is where the emperorer, vader, and dooku learned the secrets of the sith, possibly Maul as well, but I don't think that is known for sure)
Turn to the dark side, this will make you a Dark Knight.
Last step, Kill a Sith Lord.
Their are two, Darth Vader and Darth Sidious (the Emperor) if you kill Vader you take his place as the emperor's apprentice, if you kill the emperor, Vader will take his place, and you become Vader's apprentice (allthough in this scenario it is likely that Vader will try to kill you as you are too dangerous to him)
there you go, that is how you become a Sith Lord
If you mean an actual Sith, one of those that Vader is a Lord of, you don't they are gone, as for the handful of sith "acolytes" and other sith types seen in game, the only way to join them is by the Emperor, or possibly Vader recruiting you. And then you are a slave, and the only skills they will allow you access to, are those they can exploit, this is to keep you from becoming a threat to them.

Umm, did IQ's drop to a new low with that idea? Whats the point in killing vader, or emporer haha..... luke takes care of him later on. That is the dumbest idea ive heard. Im not trying to be mean, but really think a bit before you post

You do realize that everything you just said can't actually happen in the game, and is completely irrelevant? And for the record, killing the emperor wouldn't necessarily make you the apprentice. In this case, that would be up to Vader. Simply, he'd either choose to try and kill you or bow to you. If you were strong enough to defeat the master, but dumb enough to bow to the apprentice, than this conversation ended a while back.

the sith were actually a race of people that were force sensitive but died out somehow,i forget, and dark jedi studied their ways of using the force.
