I was sick and out of the game for a couple months, so I haven't really been as up to date as I used to be with what drops what. I've come to the realization that the adhesive components seem to be the rarest drops, but has anyone determined what kind of mobs seem to drop it more often than others? I've gotten loot kit parts off everything from lowbie spice fiends to higher level Tuskens, but haven't seen adhesive anywhere.

The same thing that gave you structure piece 1 for the sculpture can give you the adhesive. You just need to carry around a horseshoe or durni's foot.

best is to do janta/mokk missions to hope they drop while raising cash

then loot them off the trade forums if they dont drop

The answer to "what drops adhesive", in my experience, has been "the mob that some other guy in your solo group just killed".

Five weeks of hunting 3-6 hours each night on Dantooine and killing every humanoid mob I can... I have every part but the adhesives, in fact doubles or triples of some parts... and a collection of crystals, enough janta hides to keep my AS friend happy and gallons of janta blood for my doctor friend... not an adhesive yet.

Any factioned NPC can drop them. I looted over 300 ordinary loot kit parts before I got my first Table adhesive off a Mokk. Want to buy some???

all the look kits parts are the same % of drop. lets say youhave all the Gong parts but Section5. trying to loot section 5 on your own is damn near impossible, same as the adhesives. only reason that the adhesives are so rare is because people use them and dont sell them on vendors. there just seems to be more sections/threads in the market because there are 1-7 of them for all 5 loots (35pieces) not just 1 per like adhesives (5pieces).

I got one off of a NS Sentinel. One off of a Rebel Commando. And the third from a Canyon Corsair Captain. So I am guessing mostly any NPC could drop adhesive.
