is it possible to have more than 10 people in a group go to the corvette?

No, there are no groups of 20 allowed. 10 is the maximum allowed on the corvette at one time.

Along this line, how many people do you need on the Corvette? I haven't tried it yet, and I'm wanting to put together a group to go.

havent been up there in any groups. i did it solo to get the AV-21 parts

What is your profession? Did you use composite armor and buffs? Just curious. I don't frequently get to play when a bunch of players can assist me, so I am curious.

Okay, if I'm not trying to collect the loot, but want to get through the Corvette, do I have to take on all those battle droids?

no, most of the boxes are not used in the quest. there are some great guides around.
