I completed the rescue and destroy missions with only myself and a friend with my new character this week..it can be done still with only 2, but the assassination one is a little trickier since you need to kill a 250k ham guy in the end..i plan on bringing a combat medic and some commandos for that one. Just wear composite, I am a master doc as was my friend so that helped too. And I knew the layout and instructions (a great vette guide is in this forum so print that out).

If you have never been up there,some things to do before you go...get a group of any size, even a small group will help you relieve some of the pain, especially having a medic or doc along to heal damage. Dont take anything along that you dont want to decay. You will want armor, but your first couple times there it will get wiped out as there is no cloning and everything will decay. Have a purpose, for instance read the corvette guide and find out what you need to do to get the badge or where to find loot. The sightseeing enjoyment of the corvette quickly wears off and you will want to get something done. Eventually you will want to do something, but without direction, your group will eventually get bored, then confused, then it is just people getting killed over and over again. If you can walk past MOBs then do it, fighting them wastes time, you only have 1 hour on the corvette, and may put you or your group at risk. And finally, stay with the group, no matter what, people splitting up will inevitably get everyone killed.
